Help - Scheme Changed From 3-4 To 4-3?
I'm presuming that this had something to do with me hiring a new DC but I never noticed and now I can't find any reference to his prefered scheme.
One minute I'm running a 3-4 which i have done for the last 7 seasons with all the personnel to suit it and next thing I know the AI has changed player positions and is running a 4-3 and I now have a surplus of decent LBs and not enough DLs to cope or cap room to manouvre with and we're at the exhibition games. Is there any way to change the scheme I run back to 3-4 because I just can't figure it and if it is down to my new DC how do you tell what scheme they run as again I either missed it during the recruitment process or I plain just can't figure it. |

Game Plan - Miscellaneous Settings is where you set this
Sounds like you may have your game plan set to AI control, so change that setting under "Edit Global Options" |

...and to add to what Quik said, it's not just game plan. If you have your Global Options set for the AI to handle the depth chart heading into TC, it will quite often (always?) switch your WILBs/SILBs to MLB and your NTs to DTs in preparation for the 4-3.

Thanks guys.
I was about 7 seasons in and the more I play the more I try and do more myself rather than leaving it to the AI. I do pretty much it all manually, including setting the gameplans but I still let the AI set my depth chart which I guess from what Ben E Lou said caused it. It was just a bit of a shock that it suddenly happened after 7 seasons of play. So now I guess I'll set the depth chart to manual after the Superbowl. Thanks for the help. |
