Maniacal Misfitz HT Dynasty.... (Episode 1 - A n00b's hope!)

Well... since we are seriously lacking in HT Dynasty's reports I thought i'd give it ago.

*****W A R N I N G***** I suck at spelling. so no bitching about words i spell wrong aight??? Or ill sick Afoci on ya.

Im gonna use pretty much the same format DK uses. Why mess with perfection??

~~~~~~~~~~~My Divison~~~~~~~~~~~
Over all i'd say my divsion is pretty weak. Only 1 team really scares me and im pretty sure there gonna win the divison. But i should get second place.
Green Mages - They are in there third season under this owner and he just got demoted to Divison V. He's the best team in the divison and its gonna be very tough trying to beat him. Lucky for me i dont have to play him for awhile so ill have time to improve before we go at it.
CristinaFC3 - Not to worried about them. there owner is rarley ever on and he hasnt really done much in the way of improving his team.
PoBOXTeam - This team is OK at best. But i should have no problem thumping them both times we play. I'd look for them to end up around the middle of the divison at seasons end.
Donkey Rapers - i think they will be third place by years end. They have a very tough Defense and a good goalie. But there midfield is horrible and there attack is pretty weak as well.
ESAD - these guys have a passable coach and they've bought a few players on the transfer market. But i still see them finishing in the lower half of the divison. But the owner seems pretty active so dont be surprise if they steadly improve all year.
Witches - hmmm this team is interesting as well. They just sold most of there squad. It looks like there gonna be doing some rebuilding. There gonna be a wait and see. But they could be a third place team if the owner plays his cards right. They might even give me hell for second
Boston Bulldogs - this team sucks and the owner isnt very active. They should end the year in 7th or 8th place.
Thats the divison. Right now its kinda weak. But with a couple owners rebuilding, this divison could heat up by the end of the year.
~~~~~~~~~~Coach~~~~~~~~~

Cory Pullen (8794312)
47 years, poor form, healthy
A inadequate coach who goes all out
A controversial person who is calm and honest.
Has outstanding experience and passable leadership abilities.

Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 0 US$
Wage: 500 US$/week
Owner: Maniacal Misfitz
Warnings: 0

Well... i must be the most unlucky fucker to ever play HT. I went throught 9 coachs before i got this one. And he's average to say the least. I pissed away 100k to get this guy. LUCKY ME!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~ARENA~~~~~~~~~~~~
7,000 seater peice of shit. Im seriously considering selling my stud forward so i can upgrade this peice of shit to 14,000 seats.
~~~~~~~~~~~Training~~~~~~~~~~~

Training Level: 96% (Changing to 97%)
Training Type: Defending
Coach: Cory Pullen
Team Spirit: composed
Confidence: wonderful

Formation experience
4-3-3: poor
4-5-1: excellent
3-5-2: poor
5-3-2: poor

Ill be training defense all year since im running a 4-5-1. Ill probally be running a 5-4-1 in friendly's.

i guess its a wait and see kinda thing at this point.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Squad~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My team is fairly average for a new squad i'd say.
I got very unlucky when i drew my team and
i only got 3 good players. The rest of my team sucked
big time. So i've had to buy alot of players and
since im terrified of going into debt, i didnt have a
chance to buy any big time players.
Alan Magennis
51 000 US$, 18 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities
Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: wretched
i screwed up and bought him. I should have grabbed
an older guy since i wont be training scoreing
or playmaking at all this season. But nevertheless
he's an average player.
Alexander Blanco
68 000 US$, 27 years, passable form
Has wretched experience and passable leadership abilities
[Head]
Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: passable
Winger: wretched Defending: disastrous
By far my best midfielder. He is a very good offensive midfielder with his great passing and [head] skill. he
should get me quite a few goals and im hoping
a few 3 star games
Blaine Dent
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities
Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: passable
if i can ever get this fucker's form up he'll be a starter.
But if i cant in like 4 more weeks im probally gonna
try to dump him on the transfer market
Brandon Kane
Has disastrous experience and wretched leadership abilities
Stamina: poor Keeper: weak
Playmaking: disastrous Passing: disastrous
Winger: wretched Defending: disastrous
My back-up goalie. He sucks but if for some
reason my starter goes down then ill probally have
to bite the bullet and grab another Inadequte
on the transfer wire
Charles Eddy
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities [Unpredictable]
Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: poor
Winger: inadequate Defending: weak
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: poor
My starting winger for now. for some reason he
gets 2 stars every game and is my leading scorer
this year. i just bought an older passable winger
which will replace eddy eventually once he gets
his form up. but for now i cant complain. Ill take
2 stars a game anyday.
Chip Fontaine
104 000 US$, 27 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities
Stamina: poor Keeper: disastrous
Back-up defender that came with the team. Maybe i
can bump him to passable one day and sell him. he's a
wait and see kinda guy
Einar Markhus
Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Head]
Stamina: solid Keeper: wretched
Just bought this guy last week. He will replace Eddy
at winger eventually once i get his form up.
Pretty good all around winger and i only
paid 2,000 bucks
not really sure why he's on my team. he's kinda like
my back-up's back-up. He might see some action
in the friendly's. But overall he pretty much sucks.
Stamina: poor Keeper: disastrous
Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: weak
Winger: weak Defending: inadequate
well.... Kahudi is a tough one. he was supposed
to be a defensive trainee but i've been playing him
at inner mid. I cant really complain. He's getting me
2 stars a game. But his form just dropped as well
so hopefully he'll continue to get me 2 stars.
Leo Dugan
21 000 US$, 25 years, solid form
Has wretched experience and passable leadership abilities
Stamina: poor Keeper: wretched
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: weak
Winger: wretched Defending: inadequate
He came with the team. My back-up inner mid. If
his form stays the same and his stamina gets
high enough he will probally start. He's a wait and
see kinda guy
Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: passable
Winger: weak Defending: poor
Scoring: solid Set Pieces: weak
my stud forward. i love this guy. if i could get him
to passable form he'd be a 3 star a game every
game kinda guy. look for big numbers from him this
year. But i might also sell him to upgrade my stadium.
Ill wait and see.
Stuart Troutt
65 000 US$, 20 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities
Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: weak
my other starting winger. he gets me 21/2 stars
a game every game. i love him. and i think he's kinda
near poping in winger. but ill never know
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Season Thougts~~~~~~~~~~~

Im happy with this squad. it could be better, it could
be worse. But im not in dept and i shouldnt be in
debt anytime soon. so im happy. I see no reason
why i shouldnt get second place in my divison this year.
There are a couple teams rebuilding though. so i wont
get to optimistic yet. I have no really bad weakness a
s of yet. My midfeild could use a little help. but they
got a weak rating last week Which isnt bad for a
new team.

Up next..... First games of the season

Season 1 - U.S.A. Cup - Round 1

Nevada Gurus vs Maniacal Misfitz

First match of the season is a cup game vs a bot team.
These guys suck big time and i should demolish them
with little effort.I had to play my starters so i could
keep there form up.

Im playing my usual 4-5-1.

Starters

GK- Jorge Valdés

Right Wingback - Ignacio Ceballos
Central Defender 1 - Omar Nairn
Central Defender 2 - Ismael Ferreira da Silva
Left Wingback - Chip Fountaine

Right Winger - Charles Eddy
Inner Mid 1 - Alexander Blanco (Captain)
Inner Mid 2 - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Inner Mid 3 - Alan Magennis
Left Winger - Stuart Troutt

Forward - Seth Ortega

Subs

GK - Micheal Bone
Defender - Blaine Dent
Winger - Jesper Lindhquist
Inner Mid - Leo Dugan
Forward - Per Godland

Our starters should blow these guys to peices. Im
interested to see how Alan plays at Inner Mid.
That third Inner Mid spot is up for grabs. i have 3
guys competeing for the same job. but i think once
his form goes up he'll be the starter for good.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Match~~~~~~~~~~~
The 5364 spectators at Nevada Bowl were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Nevada started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Ferrando - Jackson, Bernstein, Willis, Noel - Nowak, Person, Kennedy, Kelly - Sellers, Nicholas.
Maniacal tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Valdés - Ceballos, Nairn, Ferreira da Silv, Fontaine - Eddy, Simon, Magennis, Blanco, Troutt - Ortega.
Seth Ortega delivered a good free kick from an excellent position in the 12th minute, but luck wasn´t on Maniacal´s side this time, the ball going wide. After 40 minutes Maniacal put themselves up by 0 - 1 as Charles Eddy finished off a strike from the left with a real cannon placed at the far post. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why Marvin Noel found unusually much space for his snappy footwork. The away team´s Alexander Blanco took advantage of a mistake to the home side´s right in the 40:th minute increasing Maniacal´s lead to 0 - 2. Halftime score was 0 - 2. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Maniacal, with an impressive 76 percent possession of the ball.
Ignacio Ceballos unexpectedly struck an inside out ball from no angle at all, and Charles Eddy forwarded it into goal for 0 - 3 The structure of the game started to change as Maniacal decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. The visitors Alan Magennis took advantage of an error due to a misunderstanding between the home side´s goalie and full backs in the 61st minute. 0 - 4 for Maniacal. Ignacio Ceballos increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 5. Marvin Noel received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 71st minute and almost caused an opponent to score. Kahudi Widodo Simon came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Manuel Ferrando, hitting the bar. As usual, Ismael Ferreira da Silva tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard this day and he couldn´t keep the pace at all. Samuel Nicholas challenged the visitors full backs eagerly, producing a good chance in the 81st minute as he went for a through ball combination. But as so many times before, the guest´s defensive efforts got the best of it. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Maniacal, with an impressive 90 percent possession of the ball.
The most dominating Nevada player was without a doubt Samuel Nicholas. However, Wiley Jackson made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Maniacal player was without a doubt Seth Ortega. Alan Magennis was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
Im overall pretty happy with the game. I was a little upset
at how long it took us to score our first goal. But we
coasted after that. The midfield needs a little help.
Alan Magennis 1 1/2 stars was a disappointment. But once
i get him to passable form he should be ok. Charles Eddy pounding home 2 goals was kind of a surprise and
my Wingback Ignacio Ceballos getting 2 goals
also was very shocking
But all in all it was a good warm-up match for our first
league game on sunday were we'll be squaring
off vs The Witches.
Up next the league opener vs the witches!!! stay tuned
Witches vs Maniacal Misfitz
well.... here we go!! first league game of the season!!
Im excited but kinda nervous at the same time. i think im
better then this team, But not by much and they have
home field advantage.. They've got a strong attack and
an O.K. defense. There Goalie is suspect and so is there
midfield, but then again so is mine.
Same line-up as last week. Gonna keep a close eye
on Alan again. if he doesnt start cranking out 2 stars
a game i might replace him with Leo. But Leo's stamina
is terrible and i cant seem to make it go up. So since
Leo's stam sucks right now, Alan's job is safe.
~~~~~~~~~~~The Match~~~~~~~~~~~

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 7220 to The Pentacle. Witches started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Ralston - Flowers, Eiriz, Mcintyre, Thorn - Bausa Lopez, Stensson, Cohen, Hubbard - Metz, Crow.

Maniacal started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Valdés - Ceballos, Nairn, Ferreira da Silv, Fontaine - Eddy, Simon, Magennis, Blanco, Troutt - Ortega.

Maniacal took the lead in the games 4:th minute with 0 - 1 after some elegant plays down the middle. Alexander Blanco was the scorer. José María Bausa Lopez of Witches received a yellow card in the 12th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 0 - 2 was a funny story: the seemingly nonchalant lob from Maniacal´s Chip Fontaine landed at the feet of Stuart Troutt who sent it into the net - goal! Some fine manouvering on the left lead to an 23rd minute Maniacal goal, making it 0 - 3. Ismael Ferreira da Silva was noted down as the scorer. Witchess Timothy Hubbard went wide in the 28:th minute, recieving a brilliant pass slicing through the visiting teams central defense line, putting the 1 - 3 goal away. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Maniacal, bringing the final ball possession rate to 55 percent, dominated the battle.

Maniacal came close to extending their lead as Alan Magennis delivered a long range shot from the right but the angle was to sharp, and the shot hit the side of the goal. It wasn´t a good day at all for Ismael Ferreira da Silva. His powerful style of play didn´t fit the bill this warm day. A well placed corner kick from Seth Ortega was followed by Alexander Blanco´s hard but accurate header. The nice combination meant 1-4 for Maniacal. The structure of the game started to change as Maniacal decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. In the 80:th minute Maniacal put themselves up 1 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. Scorer was Charles Eddy. Maniacals Ismael Ferreira da Silva got himself booked after a foul. Seth Ortega increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 1 - 6. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Maniacal, with an impressive 58 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Witches player was without a doubt Peter Crow. However, Thad Flowers made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Maniacal player was without a doubt Chip Fontaine. Alan Magennis on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 6.

Im kinda surprised we won by this big of a margin.
i expected a much closer battle, espically since they
were at home. My team played almost as expected.
I was a little upset Omar and Alan only got 1 1/2 stars.
But everyone else played pretty good.

League Scores

Green Mages - Donkey Rapers 3 - 1

This one went as expected. The Donkey Rapers
Defense kept the score close. But they never really
had a chance. The Green mages are just all around
a solid team.

CristinaFC3 - Boston Bulldo 6 - 0

I expect this one to be a little closer then it was.
Nether one of there teams are very good and i thought
the Bulldogs would put a little more of a fight.

PoBOXTeam - ESAD 6-2

Pretty much how i thought this one would turn out.
Neither one of these guys are any good. But PoBOXTeam
is a little better.

Coming up next is this weeks cup game!! I'll be playing
a human team this week. But they look to be pretty weak.

Maniacal Misfitz vs Turtle Quick

Alright.... Cup game number 2. Im at home this time
but it really doesnt matter. These guys suck. How the
bot team they played in the first round didnt beat the
shit outta them i'll never know. There Offense sucks,
there defense sucks and there Midfield.... well i cant
think of a word to discribe how bad they fucking are.
This will be a peice of cake.

Im playing mainly back-ups here. The only starters are
Jorge Valdés my goalkeeper, Alexander Blanco my inner
Midfielder, Alan Megennis another inner middy and Stuart
Troutt my winger. I should have just played all my back-ups
but i didnt wanna screw up and lose the game cause my
back-ups fucked up. Anyway... i should still whip them
pretty good.

~~~~~~~~~~~~The Match~~~~~~~~~~
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 7000 to
Maniacal Misfitz Arena. Maniacal started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Valdés - Nilsson, Herjólfsson, Vogt, Lindhquist - Markhus, Magennis, Blanco, Dugan, Troutt - Montoya.
Turtle started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Hacker - Boykin, Quintanilla, Ramos, Connolly - Wiggins, Crane, Hager, Jung - Holloway, Romero.
Johan Nilsson received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 4:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. The 10:th minute saw the home team take a 1 - 0 lead after a leak in the visitors right side defense. Scorer for Maniacal was Alan Magennis. In the 17:th minute Turtles Jimmie Ramos received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Ossie Montoya almost managed to score another goal for Maniacal, but his header was tipped to a corner by the visitors goalie. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Maniacal´s Ossie Montoya putting the lead up to 2 - 0. The structure of the game started to change as Maniacal decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. The teams went for a half-time break at 2 - 0. Maniacal, bringing the final ball possession rate to 78 percent, dominated the battle.
The home side´s Alan Magennis came close to extending the lead in the 46:th minute. His shot came in off the right hand side but Bob Hacker managed saving with a fingernail. A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 49 minutes might have resulted in another goal for Maniacal. However, Bob Hacker made a spectacular save. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Ossie Montoya squirmed himself through the central defense line in the 73rd minute, asserting the lead to 3 - 0. Ossie Montoya increased Maniacals lead to 4 - 0 by putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. This third goal made a hat trick for Ossie Montoya. Maniacal held the ball, with a clear 83 percent possession rate.
most dominating Maniacal player was without a doubt Stuart Troutt. Ossie Montoya was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Turtle player was without a doubt Marvin Connolly. Omar Quintanilla on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
Goals
Ossie Montoya - 3!!!!
Alan Magennis - 1
As expected our back-ups handled them pretty well.
Alot of these guys havent played in 3 weeks. So there
form is all shot to hell. But there were a couple surprise
performances. Leo Dugan played great, his stamina is now
at poor. If i can get it to passable ill be able to start him at
inner mid which will help. Ossie Montoya got my first ever
HATTRICK!!! kinda funny that he got it considering he is
probally the worse player on my team. go figure
Einar Markhus was kind of a let down. He is Passable winger
and eventually he will replace Eddy as a starter. But his
form is at Wretched and he only got me 1 star. Hopefully
in a few weeks i can get him to inadequate form and get
him into my starting line-up. But Eddy must know his in
trouble because he's been playing like a stud the
last couple weeks. All in all it was a good game
for my back-ups. I cant complain.
Big News First!!
Well i got good news and bad news.
Good news first.....
I Finally stopped talking about selling Seth Ortega to upgrade my stadium and i did it. It was a tough decision but after looking through the Transfer lists all morning and bidding on a bunch of guys to replace Seth i finally found this little gem just waiting for ME!!
Yuri Ruiter
77 000 US$, 27 years, passable form
Has poor experience and solid leadership abilities [Technical]
Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: passable
Winger: disastrous Defending: inadequate
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: passable
I only paid 14,500 for him
This is an outright steal. He is a 2 1/2 star a game forward.
He's also in top form and he has Solid Leadership!! 2 of my last 3 transfer picks have been great. i got this winger last week for only 2,000 bucks.
Einar Markhus
25 000 US$, 29 years, poor form
Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Head]
Stamina: solid Keeper: wretched
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: weak
Winger: passable Defending: weak
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: passable
Once his form gets up to passable he's a 2 1/2 star a game kinda guy as well. There are deals all over the Transfer Market, you just gotta be patient.
The Bad News.......
Im really gonna miss Seth Ortega
He is a beast. Once his form hits passable he'll be a 3 star a game forward everygame. If any of you more exp. guys with some money are in need of a solid forward here's Seth's skills.
Seth Ortega
160 000 US$, 25 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities
Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: passable
Winger: weak Defending: poor
Scoring: solid Set Pieces: weak
Deadline: 4/16/2003 at 00:59
The Bidding starts at 160,000 but i expect him to sell for between 200,000k - 300,000k. That will be plenty to upgrade my arena and still have a little cash to burn afterwards.
Training Update
Well, it wasnt the greatest training week ever but something wierd happened. i guy i didnt play at defense went up in defense. I've never heard of that happening before. Maybe its a bug or something but who cares, ill take it
It was Per Godland my back-up forward. He didn't even play a game last weak and his defense still bumped from poor to weak. Besides him bumping noone else went up in defense.
Not the greatest form week ever either.
6 guys went up in form including 3 starters
But 8 guys went down Including 3 starters
Balance Sheet
25 531 US$
Revenue Expenses
Crowd 21 440 Arena 3 900
Sponsors 28 650 Wages 19 810
Financial 0 Interest 0
Temporary 1 170 Temporary 20 500
Staff 19 500
Youth squad 20 000
Total revenue 51 260 Total expenses 83 710
Last week´s income/loss -32 450
Started off the week with~~~~~~ 57,981 US$
Ended the week with~~~~~~~~~ 25 531 US$
Not bad considering i added a few players. Next weeks should look alot different. I have a home game on sunday, My cup game should get me about 20k, and selling Seth should get me a big chunk of change. But then ill upgrade my stadium with that money. I still should make a very nice profit next week.
Up next, this weeks League game vs CristinaFC3
Quick question.... who would you make youe team captain???
This guy.......
Alexander Blanco (8787050)
27 years, passable form, healthy
A popular guy who is calm and upright.
Has wretched experience and passable leadership abilities
or this guy........
Yuri Ruiter (10693028)
27 years, passable form, healthy
A controversial person who is balanced and honest.
Has poor experience and solid leadership abilities
Yuri's got Solid leadership but he is Controversial and Alexander has Passble leadership and he is a popular guy.
I think I read somewhere that team captain has more to do with experience and a little with leadership....so if that is the case then Ruiter should be your guy.
That's true, Doug, but I also read in the game rules the following:
All players have a "personality". They can be nice or nasty, leaders or loners, temperamental or calm, or why not cheaters or something else? Leadership and agreeability are only applied to the player with the highest leadership factor, "the team leader". If this person is agreeable, the teams athmosphere will be as well, and if he´s nasty you might end up with a really nasty atmosphere in your squad. A coach with strong leadership abilities might counteract a disagreeable "team leader" amongst the players.
So, would this indicate that Ruiter's controversial nature would hinder his leadership to some degree? That's how I've interpreted it. Havok's coach is passable in leadership, so I don't think he'd counteract it that much. But, then again, how important is nature vs. leadership ability?
I'd say just get a clown and don't worry about it anymore. That's on my to-do list.
Now you know why Yuri was so cheap- he's death to team spirit. Unless you have another solid leadership guy, he is, by default, your "team leader". Unfortunately, your coach, the only guy who can really counteract that, is also controversial so... well, hmm... you're doomed to mediocre team spirit at best so PIC games if you can.
The good news, however, is that Yuri will be a good onfield "team captain"- as that is basically an addition of experience + leadership and he's pretty good on both.
Well if everything I've been seeing here is true, I have facts to back it up. My team captain:
Erasmo Eiriz
27 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is calm and honest.
Has weak experience and solid leadership abilities
has been my team captain since I got the team. With the exception when I hired to many coaches and they decided not to get along, or when I acquired a couple different players, my team spirit has jumped leaps & bounds and I've never PIC always "Normal" or "MOTS.
Season - 1 - League Game - Round 2
Maniacal Misfitz VS CristinaFC3
I shouldnt have much of a problem with these guys. There the first place team in the league buts thats only because they played a shitty team last weak and killed them 6-0. There Midfield is pretty good, but there offense and defense sucks big time.
Also... this will be Seth Ortega's last game in a Misfitz uniform
Maybe he can light things up for me as a going away present.
Starters
GK- Jorge Valdés
Right Wingback - Ignacio Ceballos
Central Defender 1 - Omar Nairn
Central Defender 2 - Ismael Ferreira da Silva
Left Wingback - Chip Fountaine
Right Winger - Charles Eddy
Inner Mid 1 - Alexander Blanco (Captain)
Inner Mid 2 - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Inner Mid 3 - Alan Magennis
Left Winger - Stuart Troutt
Forward - Seth Ortega
Subs
GK - Micheal Bone
Defender - Blaine Dent
Winger - Jesper Lindhquist
Inner Mid - Leo Dugan
Forward - Yuri Ruiter
Same line-up as my last league game. Except my new forward Yuri will be the back-up forward. Im gonna keep an eye on Omar Nairn this game. He had a big form drop from last week (Inadequate to poor). Im gonna see if he can play through it but if his form doesn't go back up by the team league game ill have to bench him. Im also keeping an eye on my Goalkeeper Jorge Valdés, His form just dropped to Inadequate so that might be a problem.
~~~~~~~~~~~~The Match~~~~~~~~~~~~

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Maniacal Misfitz Arena saw a crowd turnout of 7000. People from all of Florida had joined up for the derby. Maniacal tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Valdés - Ceballos, Nairn, Ferreira da Silv, Fontaine - Eddy, Simon, Magennis, Blanco, Troutt - Ortega.

CristinaFC3 had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Phillips - Daniels, Smiley, Abendańo - Garland, Robert, Polanco, Hines, Swee-Seng - Stokes, Munson.

Maniacal took the lead in the 4:th minute of the game by 1 to 0, as Alexander Blanco elegantly received a pass going deep, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Visitors Ned Stokes was alert on a play coming in from the left, making the score a tie at 1 - 1 in the 14:th minute. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted in a 19:th minute goal by Seth Ortega for Maniacal, putting them ahead 2 - 1. Maniacals Ismael Ferreira da Silva got himself booked after a foul. David Polanco received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 41st minute and almost caused an opponent to score. Seth Ortega increased Maniacals lead to 3 - 1 by putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. 3 - 1 was the half-time score. Maniacal, bringing the final ball possession rate to 52 percent, dominated the battle.

A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Maniacal´s Ignacio Ceballos putting the lead up to 4 - 1. The referee showed CristinaFC3s Ken Hines the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. CristinaFC3 had a fair chance to reply after 65 minutes, due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end no one was there to put their head to the ball as it was lifted into the box. CristinaFC3 held the ball, with a clear 52 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Maniacal player was without a doubt Chip Fontaine. Omar Nairn on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating CristinaFC3 player was without a doubt Ned Robert. However, Ken Hines made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 1.

Post Game Comments

Seth came through in his last game!!! Netting 2 goals and dominating up front. And also as expect Omar Narin and Jorge Valdés both played like crap. Depending on how much i have left over after i sell Seth and upgrade my stadium i might grab a passable Goalie. Even though droping a 100k on one player isnt the greatest idea for a new team it will help my defensive ratings out alot. But i could just be jumping the gun here. When Jorge is in Passable form he gets me 2 stars. So hopefully his form will bump back up to passable this weekend.

The game overall went about as planned and I won 4-1. There midfield played pretty good as expected but there O-fense and D-fense let them down. First place in the divison!!! (for now)

Around the League

Donkey Rapers - vs - Witches 0 - 1

Fellow FOFC'er Johnny is the GM of the Witches. I think he got a tougher then expect game from the Donkey Rapers. They took the lead early with a goal from the star forward Peter crow. But they just couldnt find the net the rest of the game. Donkey's strong defense and there excellent goalie John Youngblood kept them in the game. But in the end.... The Witches prevailed.

ESAD - vs - Green Mages 0 - 2

Im kinda surprised that the Green Mages only won this game 2-0. They dominated the possession by 64% and 76% but they just kept blowing there scoring chances.

Boston Bulldogs - vs - PoBOXTeam 3 - 1

I think i may have underestimated the bulldogs. They played a pretty good game today. After looking over there team ratings there team doesnt look quite as bad as i had originaly thought. There still few players away from contending, but it should be interesting to watch them over the course of the season and see how they progress.

-------Team----------------Played--------Goals---------Points

1. Maniacal Misfitz-----------2-----------10-2-------------6

2. Green Mages--------------2-----------5 - 1-------------6

3. CristinaFC3----------------2-----------7 - 4-------------3

4. PoBOXTeam---------------2-----------7 - 5-------------3

5. Boston Bulldogs----------2-----------3 - 7-------------3

6. Witches--------------------2-----------2 - 6-------------3

7. Donkey Rapers-----------2-----------1 - 4-------------0

8. ESAD------------------------2-----------2 - 8------------0

Quick update

It seems my divison isnt so weak after all. According to http://usa.hatstats.info/

We are the 26th strongest League in Divison V out of 256.

I guess with the Bulldogs recent turn around and the Mages, Witches, Rapers and me all being pretty good teams this could be a very interesting Divison to watch

Stay tuned......

I see that Mr. Ortega will definitely be leaving the Misfitz... that's the way it goes though. Once you are selling out your new digs you'll be all "Seth who?"

Breaking news update!!!!

well... once again i woke up earley as shit in the morning and had nothing better to do before work, so i scanned the Transfer market for awhile. Mainly looking at passable keepers. i came across about 5 that i was interested in. But they all quickly went out of my price range. I was just looking for bargins.... no serious bidding really. But i place a 53k big on this one guy 2 hours before the bidding was up. and wouldn't ya know it...... NOONE ELSE BID!!!!

i got a passable keeper for 53k!! i was so happy i was jumping up and down in my apartment!! The other 4 guys i was bidding on went for between 80k-100k.and one went for 65k (he was 32 years old) So once again i get a lucky break on the Transfer market. I suck at pulling youth but im getting lucky buying players.

here's my new starting goalie.

Vlad "The Impaler" Nutiu
194 000 US$, 30 years, weak form
Has inadequate experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: passable
Playmaking: wretched Passing: wretched
Winger: wretched Defending: wretched
Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: weak

he's 30 and his value is pretty high. i dont think he'll be declining to Inadequate anytime soon

My team is basically complete now. i wont have to buy anyone else off the market for awhile. maybe an occansional young trainee but besides that, im good.

The bidding on Seth Ortega is up to 170k with about 13 hours to go. Im hopeing to get at least 200k for him, But hopefully much more. i guess we'll have to wait and see.

Stay tuned

I don't know if you already have a clown on your team already but, if not, I'd look for one fairly quick. You should be able to find a non-playing clown for cheap that will let you counteract Yuri's, ahem, "disposition". I still think he's a good buy for that price and what he can bring to the team at this point, you'll just need to work around him with a clown. I also think Nutiu is a good buy. He's not your "keeper of the future" at 30 but hopefully you'll have enough to afford a younger solid by the time you need one anyhow. Or, y'know, win the FOFC "You Suck!" award with a solid keeper youth pull.

PS - Given Yuri's disposition and the definition of a Hattie 'clown', can we call Yuri 'assclown'? (Perhaps not to his face.)

Edit: Because I spell like bbor. *sigh*

Season - 1 - USA Cup - Round 3

Maniacal Misfitz - VS - THE BRONCOS

Unless god himself comes down and grants the Misfitz a miricle ill be out of the USA cup after this game. I've drawn a very tough Divison 4 team. He averages around 29-31 stars a game. So i've decided im just gonna play my back-ups and PIC the game.

I think if i played my starters and MOTS'ed it i'd have a small chance of winning. But the hit to my teams Spirit just isnt worth it. I'll just take my ass-whopping here and move on.

Starters

Gk - Vladimir Nutiu (my new goalie)

Right Wingback - Johan Nilsson
Central Defender 1 - Blaine Dent
Cebtral Defender 2 - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Cebtral Defender 3 - Jökull Herjólfsson
Left Wingback - Jesper Lindhquist

Right Winger - Einar Markhus
Inner Midfielder 1 - Leo Dugan
Inner Midfielder 2 - Jerome Hidalgo
Left Winger - Per Godland

Forward - Yuri Ruiter (my new forward)

Subs

Gk - Jorge Valdés
Defender - Chip Vogt
Inner Midfielder - Alexander Blanco
Winger - Charles Eddy
Forward - Stuart Troutt

I'll be playing my new passable Goalie and my new Starting Forward so there form doesnt drop for not playing a league game this week. But besides that im playing all back-ups. Im also running a 5-4-1 for the first time so i can train 5 defender's.

The Match

At Maniacal Misfitz Arena, 7000 punters turned up, and despite threatening clouds at the horizon, no rain came. Maniacal had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation. They fielded: Nutiu - Nilsson, Simon, Herjólfsson, Dent, Lindhquist - Markhus, Dugan, Hidalgo, Godland - Ruiter.

BRONCOS tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Gore - Borgsten, Hultlind, Josefsson - Dobrea, Grimes, Cunningham, van Asseldonk - Högskär, Wright, Tomlin.

A mistake by the home sides central defence in the 8:th minute allowed Ty Tomlin to score 0 - 1 for BRONCOS. Jökull Herjólfsson of Maniacal received a yellow card in the 20:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. After 27 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Keith Grimes who increased BRONCOS´s lead to 0 - 2. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, BRONCOS´s Keith Grimes got himself booked. In the 36:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as Ty Tomlin finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Keith Grimes increased the visitors lead by putting a volley shot away on a pass from the right. 0 - 4. By now BRONCOS were drawing the troops back in order to defend their lead. 0 - 4 was the half-time score. BRONCOS held the ball, with a clear 72 percent possession rate.

BRONCOS´s Keith Grimes made it through the home teams defence in the 64:th minute, and had only to place the ball in an unguarded goal when the home side´s defender sprang up from the left, clearing the ball on the line. In the game's 70:th minute Maniacal´s Yuri Ruiter limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 73 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Ĺke Hultlind who increased BRONCOS´s lead to 0 - 5. BRONCOS's Mats Josefsson scored 0 - 6 by shooting accurately and hard from a long distance, leaving the opponent goalie no other option than to pick up the ball from the net. BRONCOS´s Ted Wright received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 80:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 7. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. BRONCOS´s Keith Grimes received a play slashing through the home side´s defense in the 88:th minute, chipping it past the keeper scoring 0 - 8. The home crowd was not pleased with that one. By then Keith Grimes was a three time scorer - a hat trick! BRONCOS held the ball, with a clear 75 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Maniacal player was without a doubt Yuri Ruiter. Jökull Herjólfsson on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating BRONCOS player was without a doubt Wally Gore. However, Ted Wright made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 8.

That fucking sucked.... but i knew it would. My first non-friendly loss ever ohh well, no biggie. He even played his back-up midfielders but he played his starting forwards and they killed me.

ok.... lets try to find some good in all this shall we??. My new goalie played ok considering he's in weak form. Hopefully he'll get to Inadequate or higher for my league match on sunday so he can put up 2 1/2 stars. Both my young wingback's played pretty good getting 2 stars a piece and my new forward Yuri played ok getting 2 stars.... he probally would have had 2 1/2 but he got an injury during the game. He's bruised but playing.... i might rest him during the next league game if he's still injured and play my young back-up forward Per Godland. I'll wait and see.

The Bad.... well alot of players played like shit. Both my wingers did but i'm pretty sure i know why. I played them both Defensive and neither one of them are any good defensive. Blain Dent played like crap again.... hopefully his form will go up from Wretched soon. Jökull Herjólfsson also played like shit... his form is wretched also. I only lost 3 supporters which isnt to bad considering how bad we got crushed, But my Team Confidence went from Strong to wretched!!!!. since i PIC'ed the game my Team Spirit only dropped 1 level to Calm.

Up next... Training update

Training Update

Not a bad training week. i had one starter bump in defending. Ismael Ferreria Da Silva bumped to passable Defending. He's been a 2 star a game guy so far... hopefully soon he'll start grabing me 2 1/2 stars a game. He's the only one that bumped but i got a few more who are very close. It was a average form week.

3 guys increased there form (2 starters)
3 guys lost form ( 2 starters)

My new goalie dropped to poor form
So i have a Inadequate Goalie with Inadequate form and a passable goalie with Poor form. Ill just play Vlad my passable goalie. Hopefully he'll grab me 2 stars but more then likely he'll only grab me 1 1/2. Lucky for me im playing one of the worse teams in the league this week so it shouldn't matter to much.

Kahudi Widodo Simon is starting to worry me a little. He's a starting inner mid and his form has went from Solid to weak in the past 3 weeks. Hopefully he'll turn it around soon or i might have to replace him.

Up next, Economy update and youth pull....

Newbie question....is there any way to track skill/form changes other than keeping records of what they were pre-training?

Those of us not insanely meticulous with our records like DataKing (you can see how he gets that name!) generally go with an external program. The two common ones I've heard mentioned here have been HAM and HattrickPoli. HAM will require a registration of $7 beyond the first month. But it's Hattrick-approved and will allow you to fetch match results. HattrickPoli is still waiting approval and not quite as fleshed out at the moment but will still allow you to track your changes.

When ever you want really, but I usually do it every other day or so. Always on game days and friday, but otherwise whenever.

People with sanity probably look at it most gamedays and possibly some time after the update occur to see if any popping occurs.

Proper Hattrick-a-holic, of course, loads it daily. Just in case.

Youth Pull

My Youth pull sucked big time again. I cant really remember his skills very much because when i pulled him last night it was 3:30 in the morning and i was drunk as hell. But Im pretty sure they were all mostly wretched. My youth squad is still at Inadequate but i think it will bump to passable next week.

Season - 1 - League Game - Round - 3

Maniacal Misfitz - vs - PoBOXTeam

This week i play The PoBOXTeam, this is the first team i ever played. Last time i played them was the last game of last season. I won 3-0.There team is a little better now and so is mine. But im still clearly the better team. I shouldn't have a problem beating these guys.

There's another important game being played today aswell. The Witches (Owned by fellow FOFC'er Johnny) takes on the leagues best team The Green Mages. Im really hoping Johnny can pull out a win or even a tie would be nice cause then if i win, i'll have soul possession of first place.

Starters

GK- Vladimir Nutiu

Right Wingback - Ignacio Ceballos
Central Defender 1 - Omar Nairn
Central Defender 2 - Ismael Ferreira da Silva
Left Wingback - Chip Fountaine

Right Winger - Charles Eddy
Inner Mid 1 - Alexander Blanco
Inner Mid 2 - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Inner Mid 3 - Leo Dugan
Left Winger - Stuart Troutt

Forward - Yuri Ruiter (Captain)

Subs

GK - Jorge Valdés
Defender - Blaine Dent
Winger - Jesper Lindhquist
Inner Mid - Alan Magennis
Forward - Per Godland

I have a couple new starters this week. My new gaolie Vlad "The Impaler" Nutiu and my new forward Yuri Ruiter will get there first league game starts for my team. Also Leo Dugan will make his first start this season as well, He'll be replacing Alan Magennis at Inner Mid.

Im a little worried about a few players this game. Yuri is "bruised but playing" so i dont expect a big game outta him. Kahudi Widodo Simon's form is down to weak which is gonna hurt my midfield rating and my new goalie Vlad's form is at poor.

Here we go!

The Match

The crowd of 4060 turning up at PoBOXTeam Arena today were greeted by some nasty showers of rain. PoBOXTeam started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Schuster - Martin, Baird, Lankford - Overstreet, Rouse, Gill, Stiles, Maza - Tyson, Cintron.

Maniacal tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. They fielded: Nutiu - Ceballos, Nairn, Ferreira da Silv, Fontaine - Eddy, Simon, Blanco, Dugan, Troutt - Ruiter.

PoBOXTeam had a good opportunity to take the lead as Donald Cintron came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into thearms of Vladimir Nutiu. Alexander Blanco sailed high, high above the opponents as he headed the 0-1 in after a corner kick after 10 minutes of play. What ever got into Chip Fontaine, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through the own defense - ending up right in front of PoBOXTeam´s Donald Cintron, who easily put the ball away for 1-1. Maniacal will have to do without Stuart Troutt for a time due to a bad foot injury. He was substituted by Jesper Lindhquist. PoBOXTeam could have put themselves ahead in the 41st minute as José Rouse missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. In the 42nd minute Donald Cintron almost put the home team one ahead on a cross pass coming in from the right, but the shot went wide. Charles Eddy of Maniacal received a yellow card in the 43rd minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 1. PoBOXTeam held the ball, with a clear 55 percent possession rate.

PoBOXTeam were very close to putting themselves one up in the 48:th minute as Donald Cintron got through, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. PoBOXTeam´s Derrick Baird left the field after 48 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Terry Templeton. After 62 minutes Maniacals Yuri Ruiter made his way through the middle, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. Marty Lankford of PoBOXTeam received a yellow card in the 68:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In the 70:th minute the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as Leo Dugan finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Leo Dugan of Maniacal received a yellow card in the 74:th minute for unsportsmanlike behaviour. PoBOXTeam held the ball, with a clear 62 percent possession rate.

The most dominating PoBOXTeam player was without a doubt Lorenzo Maza. Kraig Schuster on the other hand, had a terrible day. Maniacal´s best player was Chip Fontaine. Leo Dugan on the other hand, had a terrible day.The match ends 1 - 3.

Post Game Comments

The was bad..... very bad. I won the game on the road which is good. But my team didnt play to well. I should have beaten this team by more then 3-1.This was my worst Midfield performance in a long time. Kahudi Widodo Simon's weak form hurt us alot. I hope he pull's out of it soon.... i cant have poor midfield ratings and expect to win very often. Losing Stuart Troutt for 4 weeks is gonna hurt alot. He's been my best winger this year and one of the better player's on my team. Lucky for me i have a couple good back-up wingers but its still gonna hurt my offense and my midfield alot.

But the good news is my defense played very well even though my goalie played terrible. i got my first ever 3 star rating from Chip Fountaine and my other wingback Ignacio Ceballos got his first ever 2 1/2 star rating I think Ignacio is gonna pop to Solid defending very soon. Also my new forward Yuri played ok getting me 2 stars and scoring a goal. Hopefully he'll be fully healed by next game and put up the 2 1/2 star ratings i know he's capable of.

Around The League

CristinaFC3 - vs - Donkey Rapers 4 - 0

The poor Donkey Rapers.... They've only scored 1 goal in 3 league games now. There defense is very strong but there lack of midfield and offense is killing them. I thought they'd end the year around 3rd or 4th place. But with the way there playing now, there in danger of being auto-demoted.

ESAD - vs - Boston Bulldogs 1 - 3

This game went pretty much as expected but it could have easly been 6-1. The Bulldogs dominated the ball possession and got alot of scoring chances, they're looking better and better every week. I play them in 2 weeks at there house so that should be a very tough game.

Witches - vs - Green Mages 1 - 1

Well Johnny did it!!! a 1-1 tie against the best team in the divison is a victory in itself. If the Witches wouldn't have missed on some of there earlier scoring chances they could have pulled out the victory. But thanks to this tie, i now sit in first place in the divison all by myself!!!

Breaking News.....

well... after a lackluster Midfield performance last week i realized that im kinda thin in the midfield department. So i decided to fix that today. I've just added 2 new midfielders to the squad and here they are!!!!

Haldor Gravem (7557999)
22 years, poor form, healthy

Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities.

Nationality: Norge
Assessed value: 42 000 US$
Owner: Maniacal Misfitz
Warnings: 0

Stamina: weak Goaltending: wretched
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: passable
Winger: weak Defending: weak
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched

Paid 11,000

Haldor is an average middy. He wont blow anyone out of the water but once his form and stamina go up some he'll be a solid 2 star a game Offensive middy. Im pretty sure his stam and form will go up quickly because there not to bad now considering he hasn't played a game in a month and a half.

Im also gonna try to get this guy some defensive training. if i can bump him to Inadequate defending he will be a good all-around middy.

Mathias Liebers (3659315)
26 years, inadequate form, healthy

Has poor experience and passable leadership abilities.

Nationality: Deutschland
Assessed value: 61 000 US$
Owner: Maniacal Misfitz
Warnings: 0

Stamina: excellent Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: inadequate
Winger: poor Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: wretched

Paid 16,000

I like this guy He's another average 2 star a game Offensive Middy but His value is pretty high which leads me to believe he is a high Inadequate in playmaking. I've looked over his past games and he always gets at least 2 stars a game and in Solid form he's a 2 1/2 star a game which will be nice if i can ever get him to Solid form

Ill be 41k in debt after this week if i dont sell someone so i decided to sell this guy........

Alan Magennis
52 000 US$, 18 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: poor
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: wretched

I really have no use for him now. He was the first player i ever bought and he was gonna be a back-up forward for me but i've been playing him at Inner mid and he's only getting me 1 1/2 stars a game. But i have another back-up forward now and there's no point in keeping Alan around.

Since he is only 18 and has passable scoring, good form, good stamina and good Assessed Value he should at least get me 30k but i have a feeling he'll go for a little higher.

Press Announcement

The Misfitz add 2.....

In a not to surprising move Misfitz GM added 2 new Midfielders to the squad today. After yesterdays poor midfielding against POBOXteam, GM Bryan vowed to improve it.

Haldor Gravem and Mathias Liebers were just bought hours ago and are expected to play in wednesday's friendly vs Ultra Nox. Chip Vogt was fired today in order to make room for the new midfielders and rumor has it that back-up forward/midfielder Alan Magennis will be put on the transfer wire by days end.

Season - 1 - Friendly Game - Round 3

Ultra Nox - vs - Maniacal Misfitz

Today we have a friendly vs Qwikshots "Ultra Nox". I'd much rather be playing a cup game but i have alot of guys in crappy form so this game will help alot. Qwikshot has built one hell of a team very fast, even though it took him 2 teams to get it right
It should be a pretty boring game since im running a 5-4-1.

Starters

Right Wingback - Jesper Lindhquist
Central Defender 1 - Jökull Herjólfsson
Central Defender 2 - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Central Defender 3 - Blaine Dent
Left Wingback - Johan Nilsson

Right Winger - Per Godland
Inner Midfielder 1 - Mathias Liebers
Inner Midfielder 2 - Haldor Gravem
Left Winger - Einar Markhus

Forward - Alan Magennis

Like i said before i have a couple guys in really shitty form and i hope this game help's. Right now Einar Markhus is in poor form but he is very good winger, Im hoping i can get him to Inadequate(or higher) so he can fill in for Stuart Troutt(who is injuried) for my game 2 weeks from now vs The Bulldogs. I dont need him this week cause im playing a pretty crappy team. I also need Blaine Dent to get out of wretched form. He's a 23 year old passable defender and once i get him to Inadequate form im gonna sell him and buy a younger Defensive trainee.

Both my new inner midfielders will play there first game with the squad today. Mathias Liebers is in inadequte form and Haldor Gravem is in poor form. Whoever plays the best of the two and has the best form by sunday will play in my league game.

The Match

A scorching day at Ultra Nox Arena, where 368 spectators were in place for today´s match. Ultra had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Supriyadi - Nuijens, Marusic, Emilsson - Hansson, Cabras, Delay, Isobe, Josefsson - Svarva , Zabawa.

Maniacal tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination. Lineup: Valdés - Lindhquist, Simon, Herjólfsson, Dent, Nilsson - Godland, Liebers, Gravem, Markhus - Magennis.

Eli Svarva gave his Ultra the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. In the 24:th minute Maniacals Blaine Dent received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Maniacal seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. Bartlomiej Zabawa should probably have put his team up another goal in the 29:th minute, but some great goaltending by Jorge Valdés kept the visitors in the game. In the 34:th minute Maniacals Mathias Liebers received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. In the games 37:th minute Ultra´s Tord Emilsson fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Tord Emilsson for taking a dive. In the to 40:th minute a very unfortunate collision in the home teams penalty area led to Ultra´s Yuki Isobe being carried off the pitch and replaced by Jin Ming-Chung. The teams went for a half-time break at 1 - 0. Ultra held the ball, with a clear 73 percent possession rate.

The Maniacal players spent the half-time break getting a rerun of the teams tactical organization. In the games 47:th minute, Tord Emilsson could have extended the lead, but his very hard free kick went just over the bar. Maniacal appeared unsure on how to play. Christian Hansson didn´t pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. Jorge Valdés was caught napping a bit later as Tord Emilsson lifted a ball over him after a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keepers arms. Einar Markhus made a run for the goal in the 81st minute but the home teams far left defense managed to sort the situation out in the end. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Maniacal´s Johan Nilsson got himself booked. Maniacal seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. Ultra held the ball, with a clear 70 percent possession rate.

Most important Ultra player was Tord Emilsson. Jin Ming-Chung on the other hand, had a terrible day.Most important Maniacal player was Jesper Lindhquist. Blaine Dent on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 0.

Well, That went pretty much as expected. I thought i'd lose more like 2-0 or 3-0 so im happy only losing 1-0.

The Bad..... Blaine Dent played like crap again... that wretched form is killing him, same with Jökull Herjólfsson. Haldor Gravem's poor form really hurt his game today, i thought with his poor form he still would have gotten 1 1/2 stars, i guess i was wrong and finally Per Godland, he only got 1 star cause he isnt a winger. He's a forward but since i had Alan playing forward i had to stick him somewhere and winger was the only spot open.

The Good..... Mathias Liebers getting me 2 stars is a nice surprise. I thought he'd only get me 1 1/2 since he is in Inadequte form but he played well and got 2 stars. When i bought him the other day i had a feeling he was a "high" Inadequte playmaker since his assesed value was so high. I guess i was right. Both my back-up wingbacks played well and Einar Markhus got me 1 1/2 stars in poor form. Once i get this guy 2 passable form and Stuart Troutt comes back from his injury ill have two 2 1/2 star wingers.... that should help my attack out alot.

P.S. - My next friendly will be vs another FOFC'er, Ill be playing Panther's Tomahawks.

Training Update

Not a good week of training for me. Not a single dam defender popped. I have a feeling some are getting really close, so hopefully next week.

A very bad form week aswell. 3 starter dropped in form and no starters bumped!!!! My wingers are becoming a serious problem right now. My Best Winger Stuart Troutt is injured for 3 more weeks (probally only 2 more), My other starting winger charles eddy just had his form drop to Inadequate which is a problem cause he's really not that great of a winger but since he was always in passable form or higher i always started him and he'd get 2 stars. Im not sure if he'll get 2 stars in inadequte form.

My Replacment winger for Stuart is Jesper Lindhquist. he's a 2 star winger in passable form but he just dropped to inadequate form also!!! And my other back-up winger is in poor form. So im not sure what the hell im gonna do, but lucky for me im playing a pretty easy game this week so it shouldn't be a problem. But next week i have a tougher game so hopefully by then ill be a little more luck in the form department.

Neither of my goalie's increased in form either. My passable goalie is still in poor form and my inadequate is still in inadequte form. So it looks like another 1 1/2 star showing from my goalie's . Form has been kicking my ass as of late. im tempted to train General for a week. But everyone tells me its a waste of time. I guess i'll wait a little longer and see what happens.

3 form increases - (no starters)

3 form decreases - (3 starters)

in other news.....

Only paid 4k for him so im happy. He's only 17 plus he's got the Head skill which is ohhhhh sooo nice for a defender And his assesed Value leads me to believe he is a couple weeks away from popping.

Ill be placing Blaine Dent on the transfer wire tommarrow to make room for this guy on my back-up team.

well its seems i have another defensive trainne now.... i placed a 2k big on this guy and forgot about him and noone else bid on him.

Dumitru Burghelea
10 000 US$, 17 years, solid form
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities

Stamina: poor Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: wretched
Winger: poor Defending: inadequate
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: inadequate

Him being only 17 and in Solid form which is nice. Im hoping maybe he has a good base form. Now i need to get rid of another Defender to have room to train this guy. I think i'll place this guy on the Market today also....

Ismael Ferreira da Silva
37 000 US$, 19 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities [Powerful]

Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: poor
Winger: poor Defending: passable
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: weak

He's 19 with Passable defending and Inadequate playmaking. His powerful skill has really been a pain in the ass for me since i play all my home games in florida and it hardly ever rains here . I should probally get a nice chunk of change for him. So today at 23:59, Ismael Ferreira da Silva and Blaine Dent wil go on the transfer market.

well.... i just cant get enough of the transfer market
Im making good profit and upgrading my team as well. I added another Inner Midfielder today and i might have another one within a couple hours. Here he is.......

Ewen Buckley
34 000 US$, 20 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Technical]

Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: weak
Winger: weak Defending: weak
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: weak

Paid 20k

I paid a little more then i wanted to but he's young and he is a pretty good all around Midfielder. Now my midfield is pretty deep. I only have one Stud Midfielder and thats Alexander Blanco, but now i have 5 other midfielder's who get 2 stars a game (2 1/2 if there in solid or excellent form).

I put Blaine Dent on the transfer Market today but i decided to keep Ismael Ferreira da Silva around. He'll be a Solid defender by the end of the season so i'll wait to sell him then.

Economic Update

I had a busy week on the transfer market. I bought 6 guys, sold 1 guy fired 2 guys and have 1 on the transfer market right now.
I've upgraded my midfield alot and added two 17 year old defensive trainee's.

This is my first ever week of being in debt!!! its only 2k and after my home game i'll be back in the green. But after this week i have back to back away games so unless i get a good youth pull i'll drop about 70-80k in the hole after those two weeks. but then i finish up the season with 5 of my last 8 games at home which will be nice

Youth Pull

My best youth pull ever!!!!!!!! but he still sucks. i might be able to sell him for like 5k if im lucky but im not getting my hopes up.

P.S. My youth squad finally hit passable!!!

edit: Didn't see the wretched passing and stamina...so nevermind

League Game - Season 1 - Round 4

Maniacal Misfitz - vs - ESAD

My first home game in my new stadium
I should have no problem spanking ESAD. The owner is pretty active on the transfer market but his team is still pretty bad. They're in last place in the divison and they'll probally finish the year in 7th just above The Donkey Raper's.

The Game of the week in my divison is The Green Mages - vs - Boston Bulldogs. Im sure the Green Mages will whip them pretty good and thats exactly what i want them to do, since i play The Bulldogs next week. I want there Team Spirit to be as low as possible.

Starters

GK - Vladimir Nutiu

Right Wingback - Chip Fontaine
Central Defender 1 - Omar Nairn
Central Defender 2 - Ismael Ferreira da Silva
Left Wingback - Ignacio Ceballos

Right Winger - Charles Eddy
Inner Midfielder 1 - Alexander Blanco
Inner Midfielder 2 - Mathias Liebers
Inner Midfielder 3 - Ewen Buckley
Left Winger - Johan Nilsson

Forward - Yuri Ruiter (Team Captain)

Subs

GK - Jorge Valdés
Defender - Dumitru Burghelea
Inner Midfielder - Kahudi Widodo Simon
Winger - Einar Markhus
Forward - Per Godland

3 new starters from last week. Mathias Liebers and Ewen Buckley are new transfers that i just brought in. Johan Nilsson is normally a Wingback Trainee but since my star winger Stuart Troutt is out this week and my back-up winger is in poor form i decided to let Johan Nilsson get the start. He should to pretty good because he's in solid form but his Wretched Playmaking will hurt the midfield some.

Vlad "The Impaler" Nutiu is still in poor form which is gonna hurt my defensive rating big time. If his form or Jorge's form dont improve after the next training update i might have to go grab a Inadequate goalie with passable form so i can get at least 2 stars a game until Vlad finally comes around.

The Match

Date: 4/28/2003 at 01:00
MatchID: 5555092
Arena: Maniacal Misfitz Arena
Crowd: 8825

8825 spectators arrived at Maniacal Misfitz Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Maniacal tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Nutiu - Fontaine, Nairn, Ferreira da Silv, Ceballos - Eddy, Liebers, Buckley, Blanco, Nilsson - Ruiter.

ESAD tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Sandér - Hook, MacCarthy, Sengupta, Cheng - Mccormick, Monzón, Bonilla, Danielsson - Perez, Cal.

After a fine move down the middle Charles Eddy nearly gave the home side one up in the 10:th minute. The finishing shot went just wide, though. The referee showed ESADs Marcos Francisco Monzón the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Ismael Ferreira da Silva went down after a savage challenge, but could keep on playing after some medical attention. A well placed corner kick from Yuri Ruiter was followed by Alexander Blanco´s hard but accurate header. The nice combination meant 1-0 for Maniacal. Maniacal put themselves up 2 - 0 when Yuri Ruiter broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. Halftime score was 2 - 0. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Maniacal, with an impressive 69 percent possession of the ball.

A couple of quick and successful challenges, followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area after 46 minutes might have resulted in another goal for Maniacal. However, Olof Sandér made a spectacular save. In the 50:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Chip Fontaine dashed through, knocking home 3 - 0 for Maniacal. The structure of the game started to change as Maniacal decided to pull back and meet their opponents in the defensive zone. Maniacal held the ball, with a clear 72 percent possession rate.

Most important Maniacal player was Chip Fontaine. Vladimir Nutiu on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important ESAD player was Enrique Cal. Leslie Cheng on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 0.

Goals

Alexander Blanco - 1
Yuri Ruiter - 1
Chip Fontaine - 1

Post Game Comments

Not bad.... not bad at all. I dominated the whole game as i expected. I thought i'd score a few more goals but since im missing my best offensive winger i guess im not really that surprised i only scored 3. My Defense put up its best performance ever. If only my dam PASSABLE! Goalie would get at least 2 stars a game my ratings would be Excellent/Excellent/Solid. Poor form sucks!!

The Good - Omar Narin put up his first ever 2 1/2 star performance. His assesed value is at 55,000 now, i think he'll be popping to Solid defending soon. Chip Fontaine got another 3 stars for me and Ignacio Ceballos played great and got me 2 1/2 stars.

My Man Yuri Ruiter!!!! He's finally not "bruised, but playing" and he gets me 2 1/2 stars!!!! I love it!!! payed 14,500 for a 2 1/2 star forward

The Bad - Once again my goalie lets me down. I was all happy when i grabbed a Passable goalie for 53k, but now its coming back to bite me in the ass. His poor form is killing him and me!! Im not sure what im gonna do if he doesnt improve soon.

Ewen Buckly only picked up 1 1/2 stars in his first start for my team. Im not to surprised, his weak stamina and Inadequate form are a problem. But that should work itself out in a few weeks. i have plenty of back-up midfields now so if he doesnt improve i'll have someone else come in and play.

Around The League

Green Mages - vs - Boston Bulldogs 3 - 1
Im glad the Green Mages won. The Bulldogs are gonna get crushed in there next cup game on wednesday aswell. So there Team Spirit and Team Confidence should be terrible for our game next weekend at there arena.

Donkey Rapers - vs - PoBOXTeam 0 - 2
The "who cares" game of the week. Once again the Donkey Rapers didnt score a goal. There offense and midfield are just horrid.

Witches - vs - CristinaFC3 7 - 1
Former FOFC'er Johnny won easy today. He put up his best stars ever. He has like 2 guys in Excellent form and a few more in solid and passable. Im not sure if he's training general or not but it cant last. I've only ever had 1 guy in excellent form and that lasted 1 week.

League Standings

Team--------------------Played-----------Goals------------Points
1. Maniacal Misfitz-------4---------------16 - 3-------------12

2. Green Mages----------4----------------9 - 3--------------10

3. Witches-----------------4---------------10 - 8--------------7

4. PoBOXTeam------------4---------------10 - 8--------------6

5. CristinaFC3------------4---------------12 - 11-------------6

6. Boston Bulldogs-------4----------------7 - 11--------------6

7. Donkey Rapers--------4---------------1 - 10---------------0

8. ESAD---------------------4---------------3 - 14---------------0

Up next, friendly vs Fellow FOFC'er Pather's Tomahawks....

Quick Update

Blaine Dent sold today for a little more the expected, 20,000 was the final bid. I cant say im not glad to see him go. His passable defense was nice but after 2 months of Wretched form he had to go. Hopefully he'll turn it around for his new squad. I've got 2 more guys up for sale, but they will probally only fetch between 1,000-5,000 tops.

Im gonna place my Passable keeper on the transfer wire for 85k tonight. His poor form is driving me nutz. I doubt anyone will bite for 85k but if they do i'll use the money to buy another keeper.

P.S. i also decided to place my inadequate goalie on the transfer wire for 40k. If someone bites and takes him i'll go buy another one cheaper.

well..... i just cant stop buying players I saw this guy on the market for well well below market price.

i got him for 32k!!! but there's a catch..... he's injured for 4 weeks

But since i already have 2 doctors because Stuart Trout is out and since this guy is only 20 he should be ready to go in 2 - 2 1/2 weeks. Then i can either sell him for 70-90k or i can sell my other passable/passable forward Yuri. Yuri probally will only sell for around 40k - 50k tops because he has solid leadership and he's controversial so he can hurt your TS if you dont have a clown.

so in a few weeks i'll have a decision to make. But overall i think it was a good purchase.

i just keep going and going and going.....

well... i just bought another player!! Since my Passable goalie is in poor form and playing like shit, i had to get another passable. i found this little gem in Canada.

Only paid 66k

So now i'll sell my back-up and i should break even. Late night in Canada you can find some nice deals. i saw a 21 year old passable keeper in passable form go for 63k 2 nights ago and a 24 year old solid keeper in inadequate form go for 163k last week.. So if anyone needs a keeper.... check out Canada

havok, are you going to send anyone to the previctory party or does that put them at risk for the market? You keep buying all these players, the people that make your jerseys will become the second richest company behind microsoft or walmart(whoever it is) good buys though!
