Oops. (2-TE thread deleted accidentally by Nitwit One True Dark Jedi)

Accidentally deleted the 2-TE thread trying to delete a post with bad formatting that I just made. Thread is gone for good. Sorry.

Here's what I tried to post...

Bump.

Okay, so the latter doesn't exist...but the cost savings could be significant.
Subby=prophet.

So the WOOF has gone to a new setup of adding a bunch of dead cap space to every team to make the cap matter a ton. So now the latter does exist, in a big way. With cap space at a premium, and my 2nd-best WR rated a paltry 36/36, I decided to build a 2-TE team this offseason. I have a 93/93 QB who knows all five 2-TE formations, and it's working swimmingly so far. The key personnel:

QB: 93/93
RB: 65/82
TE1: 67/67
TE2: 65/65
WR1: 70/70

Results to date: WOOF: Lowcountry Gators 2020

I'm pretty sure we've only used GL and the five 2-TE formations to date. So, this is most definitely viable (and lots of fun) in 6.3/6.3a. I haven't done much testing of it. I just tried it on my test team with four of the 2-TE formations to make sure it hadn't been nerfed before I went for it in WOOF. But I'd imagine a big key is still the number of 2-TE formations your QB knows.

You haven't faced my fierce defense yet though!

I just tried "I'm using 20-20-20-20-20 in all situations on the formations." as a search, and all I get is the WOOF RSS feed.

Heh.

I'm pretty sure I still have the generic version of the game plan that I shared at home. I'll re-upload it tonight probably.

Rando managed to destroy me while I was using this gameplan in OSFL.

For whatever reason, my QB started locking on to my WR instead of throwing to the TE's as he had the past two games.

Rando, I believe, must of set the doulbe cover the Top WR to 100%... because I don't think there was a single pass where I didn't get the double coverage message.

It's weird how each game he's looking less and less to the TE's.

TE/WR - Pass attempt splits

Game 1 - 29/15
Game 2 - 18/15
Game 3 - 12/17

Time to go back and tinker with the gameplan!

I suspected you might try something like this so I made sure to stash a copy of it elsewhere.

Heh - this is exactly how I am trying to build the Lincoln Continentals in WOOF. Have the WR and the two TE. Just need the QB.
