Windows 7 problems

I had to scrub my computer a couple months ago due to viruses. So i now have a HP mini that im running the game on. Im in the AUFL and have downloaded all the files for the league. From what i can see is that all the file are in the right place. I initnally had the problem that when i would run the batch file it would denie me acccess and when i would download the current league file it would deny me access, hhwever, i have fixed that problem. Now when i go to open the batch file everything runs like it should and the game opens up. I go to MP icon and click "begin new career".... However, the aufl "real" teams aren't there, its the FOF default teams....why is that??

Now for the second problem. So i picked the team the commish says matched up to my AUFL team. Then when i go to click on the the team i enter the league ID and then click begin and it says "nos svaed game file" however, i did download and extract the current league file??? So can someone give me some direction please!!!

Are you sure you have your league files in C:\Users\[your login]\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic\Front Office Football\leagues ? (Assuming C: is your windows drive)

If your running version 6.3 or later (current is 6.3b) the league files have to be where I stated in post 2.

Don't use Shawn, use the NAME of your computer.

C:\Users\XXXX - where XXXX is the name you chose for your computer.

OK, open the "C" drive, now go to TOOLS, Folder Options, and select the VIEW tab.

Under the "Hidden files & folders" select the "Show hidden files, folders and drives".

Joining in late, but I think you've got it.

MS changed where some standard pointers go to in Windows 7. So whatever Solescimic is using points to that folder. Thus on a windows 7 machine, that's where these files have to go.

If Shawn is the name you log in with, the above sounds completely right to me.

Each 'user' (aka separate login) has its own space under that c:\Users folder. Then under that you'll find the APPDATA folder that's the new place MS wants apps to put their data. Then there's a very unobvious layer where you want to pick "Roaming". Once you get there, you'll see a folder for Solscemic and then under that one for FOF. Finally, under that you can put the same old folder structure for LEAGUES that used to go under Program Files.

On my computer, where I login as 'Marc', here's where the files go. The only dif for you is to change "Marc" to whatever you're login name is.
C:\Users\Marc\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football 2007\leagues

The good news is that you've only got to do this once. And, well, then remember to put the downloaded league files there each time. Fortunately, the little unzipping tool I use (WINRAR) remembers recent folders so I just pick from a list to unzip to the right place each time now.
