Quick Hatrick question.........

At what age do players start declining??? i think i heard someone say 33 but im not sure. Im currently bidding on a bunch of goalie's and one of them is 32. I have a feeling ill get him for cheap but i dont wanna buy him and have him drop in skill right away.

If he doesnt start declining till he's 33 then ill get a good season and a half to 2 seasons out of him.

The literature says 27 is when they -can- start to decline. Larger school of people put the line at 29 I think. It also says that some skills decline faster than others. Scoring is supposed to diminish earlier or more severly (take your pick) than keeper.

Even if he drops in skill...how much would it be? May not be noticeable, or if he does go from say solid to passable, it may only be to a high passable.
