How do you make CPU sign draft picks/FA in MP?

I'm running an online league... and we're taking water with some CPU franchises that seem to have no interest in signing FA's to fill out their roster, or in some cases, even signing their draft picks.

Am I missing something that I don't have checked off for them to be active in the player market... or does the AI just not do a good job about keeping their roster filled.

So a couple guesses... check the AI/human control radio buttons in the Team Control Panel in the Multi-Player Controls box. If the circle radio button for a team has a black circle, it's set to human control. If it doesn't, it's set to AI control. Make sure you have the teams you want set to human/AI control marked appropriately.

Second thing... even if you have the teams set appropriately, it's my understanding that the AI won't necessarily do things unless you are in certain stages or the team has already been set to AI control for a decent amount of time. You aren't likely to see immediate offers for rookie or FAs if you turn AI control on for a random stage like FA2-3 or something.

Yeah, I've got all the AI teams set to Computer Control... they just don't seem interested in signing anyone for their rosters when they're well understaffed.
