Browser Extensions
So....
In a fairly eventful weekend, I ended up replacing both my laptop and my phone. I'm hoping I can bring back the old laptop from the dead, but for now, I bought a Dell Inspiron at Best Buy for fairly cheap. So....before the old laptop fiasco, I had everything I needed backed up. Bookmarks, files, etc. All is well. But what I didn't write down or otherwise record was "which extensions do I use" on Chrome and Firefox. My main browser is Chrome, but there are a few websites I go to that don't work so well with it, so use Firefox for those. What are the must-have extensions? Merci beaucoup... /tk

no-script for firefox is the easiest way for casual computer users to protect themselves from malicious websites (or even protect themselves from malicious attacks that have infected perfectly legitimate websites, such as happens here on FOFC from time to time through banner ad infections).
I don't recommend anyone surf the web from any system without no-script unless they know enough about how to secure the browser from various script, html5, java and other browser exploits out there. |
