Installation/Startup Issues!

I feel this deserves its own thread, mainly because I'm so mad right now.

I hadn't played in months but got the itch the other day. Did the ol' double click on the icon and it brings up not the familiar game screen but the little popup that you get when you download the demo or whatever. Apparently the game lost my license! OK, contacted elicense and got the order ID and whatnot. Fixed that problem, after a little hassle.

OK, so while I was searching this board for help on that problem, I noticed that the game has been updated, so I thought "Hey, while I'm here..." BAD FREAKING IDEA. Now that I've uninstalled my WORKING copy of the game, now all I get is a window that says "Unable to get a license, try again later" or whatever.

I could only find one user here that had this problem, and no one seems to have offered a fix.

This is really irritating!
