Super Bowl, anyone going?

Two teams with huge fanbases. Seems reasonable that some of the FOFC contingent might decide to make the trip.

Dallas strikes me as a pretty meh destination in the bleak midwinter. But the game looks like it will be good, the fanbases will be out in force, and you know that Jerry will want to put on a show to end all shows.

Anyone here going?

Not me, but a girl who works with my mother in law was asked to go by her new boyfriend. Turns out my wife went to high school with the guy, and he's the biggest d in the world, but he's also insanely wealthy (re: his parents are).

I will not be going. I really don't care for either team. I will watch the game, but I will have no particular rooting interest.

I'll be heading to Vegas. Was going there anyway, it will just be even better now that the Pack are in the SB.

Unfortunately (fortunately), my wife is also a Packer fan and watches the games so, in order to go I would need to buy 2 tickets. It would probably take what.. $7500-$10K to go with hotel/airfare and that just isn't feasible.

Now, if they were in Indy next year and I eliminated airfare and hotels and just needed to buy the ticket I would consider it.

It sounds like Senator & Son are going.
