Turn Over's how to stop em?

Is there any way to stop turning the ball over? Is it just in a teams DNA? If i would throw a lot of INTs, I would change to a heavy run GP, but noticed we would just start fumbling, while still throwing INTs, just not as many.

Change QBs / RBs. There are hidden ratings for avoiding picks and fumbles, you just have to check stats to see how likely a guy is to do one or the other.

Do guys hidden ratings get worse in their careers?

I have a QB in PFL who was a QBR HOFer, good yards, TDs few INTs... lately hes been rather ordinary at best, borderline bad.

Hes basically had the same 3 WRs his whole career 12 years, 11 years, and 8 years. 1 was a flat out stud high 70's, the other 2 were both Get Downfield, Big Play types, 1 in the 60's the other maxed around 50 something.

I also have had a decent TE throughout, not a stud by any means tho, but big Big Play bar.

My Cohesion is 96 as you would assume. We are still winning games, so its not like we are always behind and hes throwing INTs. Yet, he play has dropped significantly.

I assume hidden ratings can change, just like regular ratings do. And then there's dice rolls. As far as ints go, it's also possible that they're affected by the defense expecting pass and passing distance.

There's no cut-and-dried solution to the problems you're posting, so don't expect to find one in these forums.

Also don't forget that one of the more recent patches increased the probability of interceptions.

Well... This guy was best during the 6.3 patch, hence the nickname.

OK, I was wondering if maybe the patch happened between 2033 and 2034 since that's when the INT's seemed to spike.

I want to say his 2 interceptions against me in the 1st game this season were on deep passes.... maybe it's the game plan?

I believe the patch was the 2030. After his 3rd SB, I gave him the nickname.

Salt Lake City: Goal-Line formation with three tight ends, strength is left. The defense is in a 34 and 3-deep zone coverage, expecting the pass. Curren is blitzing.
2-5-BAL47 (1Q: 13:22) Ross Roberts pass was intended for TE Tyrus Banks and was intercepted by OLB Derrick Sheasley in the end zone. Touchback. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

Salt Lake City: Strong formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 34 with dime personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, keying aggressively on the pass. Duncan is blitzing.
2-2-BAL38 (2Q: 00:15) Mr. 6.3 Roberts pass was intended for RB Jose Jameson and was intercepted by CB Herb Ellison at the BAL37. Tackled by Jason Emmons. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

I can tell u this... the GP I used from 2030 until about midway into 2036 was the same GP offensively. I have them saved, and I would tweak them slightly through the years, but when things didnt look right, i would put the original back in. The results were never the same after that 3 year SB run though, which is why Ive been changing recently.. to catch that magic per say, but Ive noticed the TO's have shot way up.

Throwing 50 yards into the end zone out of a 3TE set. Now that's some trickeration.

Yea, why is that happening? Odd.

I think someone theorized that Avoid INT is one of the first things to go with aging, in a QB. Just a theory, interesting to see if it's true here. I think that is fair. Some players catch flash in a pan for a few years, but then their effectiveness dwindles. Marc Bulger was on top of the world for a few years running that St. Louis offense and is now a retread backup few teams really wanted. And the guy is only 33. There can only be so many Manning/Bradys.

16 interceptions on 549 attempts really isn't such a big deal. Especially if you've been in a lot of catch up situations, forcing you to throw, forcing the defense to see it coming and making interceptions more likely. Then there's the randomness factor where sometimes you end up with a couple of multiple INT games that will always hurt a QB's full season figures. Lastly, based on the YPC figure, it seems that you're attempting longer throws than before, which certainly won't help decrease the turnovers.

Yes, I understand! We should use the art of no mind. Turnovers and no turnovers are one!
