PureSim Baseball 4 - Lots of news

Hey guys, we have hit the feature complete phase of our open beta test for PureSim Baseball 4. PS 4 will be officially released on 3/22/2011, but you can start playing today.

A couple of notes:

- The BETA version is already available for immediate download. If you choose to buy the game ($24.95), please join our open beta testing forum at Wolverine Studios: PureSim Baseball 4: First Access - Wolverine Studios

- The download above includes the FREE PureSim Baseball 4 "Lite" Version (BETA). The Lite version requires that you play in the new "PureSim Challenge" mode. If you get below a certain "GM Score" in challenge mode, you get fired from the association and have to start over. The better GM you are, the longer you get to play for free If you get canned, and are attached to your association, you can always upgrade to the full version and get another few seasons to see if you can turn things around. The full version also has tons of other modes available.

- PS4 adds real world transactions that go all the way back 1920! Almost 60,000 hand tweaked transactions are in the PS real world transactions database. You can take over a team and EVERY transaction happens just as it did in real life. (Read more on TRU-Life Transactions Mode here)

Info on all the 165 new features and tweaks, and download links are here

I would order if it wasn't from Wolverine. Support was a bad experience for me. DDSPB2 is still unplayable for me after ordering it last year.

You can always play the free version. It is the full game (just only one mode), so you would know if it worked without a worry.

EDIT: Why is there a "thumbs down" icon in my post? Did I do that?

Shaun

Seriously?? Gary has always been considered to have damn good customer support/interaction. Have you tried sending him a PM here?

I'm honestly surprised by this.

I also had problems with DDPB however it wasnt from lack of support from Gary. He tried very hard it was just the older program he used to create that game didnt function well with newer systems. The new pro basketball works great and in any case Shaun does his own fixing of errors and they are usually fixed within a day or two. Customer service at Wolverine has never been an issue for me.

Yeh, we have communicted by email and finally he quit trying to help. It was an off line licensing issue. Support was always good up to now. I guess I just can't be helped.

Shaun,

I downloaded the beta but it wont load past the initial splash screen. I am running it on Windows 7. Any ideas? I'm about to restart my PC tp see if that helps.

I broke the lite version of the game. Apparently no trading is possible but I was able to do it. I went to arod and clicked trade. I made an offer of Soriano and Aramis Rodriguez. The trade was accepted. however, the game requires 60 people exactly to play a game. I could not add a player in FA since the game did not allow transactions. I fixed this by making another trade and received 2 players for 1. i went to play the game and it wouldn't run. I told the game to sim a week and hit ok and received a run time crash , error 91. I think you just need to close this loophole to solve this issue.
