R.I.P John Barry, we hardly knew ye.
I have this discussion with a couple guys i work with on a regular basis...the the age of symphonies long since past, i consider the composers that write scores to be the closest our era will ever see to a beethoven or mozart...there is really no other venue for great composers, and considering how crappy some of them are, i think this one will be truly missed.
