Should I Fire Edward Shade at Villanova??
Ok so here is the situation, Edward wins in the regular season but cant get it done in the IAAUS Tournament. Please help me decide on what to do.
His ratings are 9 (recruiting) 5 (scouting) 10 (offense) 10 (defense) His stats are 151-51, no conference titles, and 1 All american in 6 seasons. The past 6 years his post season looked like this 2015- Loss in IAAUS 2nd round 2014- Loss in IAAUS 1st round 2013- Loss in IAAUS Elite 8 2012- Loss in IAAUS 1st round 2011- Loss in IAAUS 2nd round 2010- Loss in IAAUS 1st round. Villanova's Prestige is currently at 88 down when we started in 2010 from 91. His recruiting classes have been 2015- 4th 2014- 96th 2013- 183rd 2012- 19th 2011- 95th 2010- 26th Im also not positive Id be able to get a better coach to develop the players like him. He has 10 ratings in both offense and defense. However I know I can get a better recruiter..... Tough call!!!!! Last edited by muns : 03-09-2011 at 10:35 PM. |

No. That #4 recruiting class bought him time.

I agree, give him a chance to develop that #4 recruiting class, and if he can't get to a Final Four with that class, then maybe he needs to go.
