Macbook keyboard stuck/not working

Any advice from fellow Mac users?

This afternoon I cleaned my three year old Macbook with a cleaning pad and a can of compressed air as I typically do each month. I've never had any problems with the keyboard until now.

After cleaning the keyboard and placing the iSkin keyboard cover back down on the keyboard, I find that some keys do not register at all and others stay down so, for example, the g key goes "ggggggggg" etc. The caps lock button, volume and expose buttons all work normally. The dashboard button does not work.

I've tried cleaning the stuck or malfunctioning keys with compressed air again but to no avail. I picked up an external keyboard from Best Buy and everything works fine now.

Do I just have to pay to have the Macbook keyboard replaced? How much would that cost? Any other possible solutions? Thanks in advance.
