This year, we finally have a PTO that remembers there's one male teacher out of 14. Every day we've been getting little gifts this week. They are actually putting thought into mine. Today all the women got little lip gloss things. Me? A big bag of beef jerky. Woot!

This year our district had to tell several teachers that they were being laid off because the union negotiated a sweet ass deal a few years ago that the province can't fund this year and next.

We got pencils and m&ms Monday fromt he BETA club. Pizza Tuesday from STUCO. Ice Cream treats at the faculty meeting Wednesday.
C.O. sent us lunch bags with district name on them. Principals let the staff dress down Wednesday. Im a P.E. teacher so that one didnt affect me. Been a great week. |
