FOFC Greatest Posts Draft

The last draft was fun, so I thought I'd try to get a new one started. Here's the idea came up with...

1) You'll be drafting the greatest posts in FOFC history.
2) You must fit the posts into the following categories:

Smartest Post
Dumbest Post
Funniest Post
Awkward Post
Best Prediction
Worst Prediction
Catchphrase Post
Media Post
Meltdown Post
FOF-Related Post
Dynasty Post
Wildcard Post

3) A poster may only be used once per category.
4) A thread may only be used once per category.
5) You must have a link to the post. Get your searching skills on.

Any interest in this?

I won't be able to take part, but this should be good.

Feel like I had an idea for this draft like...a couple years back. Just want to take credit for it. Haha.

Hmm...I might be interested...although trying to find some of them is going to be difficult.

I'm going to go ahead and say this is damn near impossible...but I'd be interested in following along. I would get rid of the "different month" rule.

I have a feeling MBBF is going to appear in everyone's list somewhere. :-) I have some thoughts on what would be a good first pick but I will wait and watch this draft. Great idea, very interested in following along.

Yeah I've been thinking about dropping the different month rule. I just added that for extra strategy, but this draft will already be difficult as it is.

I would also say 'damn near impossible', given the short-term memories most people have.

It's a great idea - but, ya, perhaps impossible to pull off.

There are a few threads on here that are lists of memorable posts and/or threads. That's one place to start. Also, searching posts by certain members. The Advanced Search function should be able to locate many of them. Other than that, I could always eliminate a couple categories that you guys think will be difficult...

If you don't have enough people to do this, might be good to do kind of a group exercise on the categories.

This will be fun to read, but I'm too lazy to wade through 10 years of history to be able to come up with a draft.

This thread sucks without a poll with a trout option.

Yeah, I might just convert this into a nomination/poll format.

Oh, I knew that. I was more saying it due to lack of participants. Maybe it would be easier to have people nominate posts and vote on them.

Ahhh gotcha. Well, it is also a holiday weekend and people may be out for a bit. Or they are doing their research and it's just taking a little while longer than expected?

Without criteria 3 and 4, jbmagic pretty much sweeps every award on the list. What better? jbmagic or the field?

I would take the field on that one. Quite a few other legendary posts out there

The award should be a trout.

The flere diagram to your post was the first thing I thought of when I saw this. Next was jbmagic and "if you lose that many hands in a row, blackjack may not be your game". Maybe some individual posts in How to Fudge a Bank Statement and Maximum Football (limerick off anyone?).

Sounds like fun! I haven't been around in awhile, but I can think of a few posts worthy of an award. Probably stuff that happened over a year ago.
