iPad to iPad 2 users
Do you feel the upgrade was worth it? Or should I hold off and get the 3 because you didn't feel the upgrade was really that significant?

iPad 2 is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the original, both in terms of speed and also weight ... the original I found awkward to hold for long periods because of it (esp. one handed) but the new one is far better in that regard.
Downside is the iPad 2 is INCREDIBLY fragile without a decent case because its got a lot more glass on it, I'd recommend getting a third-party one which gives protection to it myself. |

What case do you use, Marc? SegRat, I have an iPad 2 and love it. But if you have an original iPad and don't intend to video chat on it much, I'd wait for the iPad 3. If you do intend to video chat, then consider the iPad 2 and the faster and better processor will be an added bonus.

Personally I have the original iPad but have chosen to wait for the version 3 - the 2 looks great and is a nice update but to me, the update is mostly around speed, and not must-have new features.

I'd tell you - but it doesn't appear to have a brand on it; it was just a rubberised one (similar to many of the mobile phone/itouch ones) which I picked up reasonably cheaply from Walmart.
(I've also got one of the 'book' cases for my original iPad - it'd fit the iPad 2 ... but when my son is using it he takes it out and its the drop factor which scares me ... hence wanting something on it which doesn't come off) Quote:
