If they finish the season 3-13, Lions fans can place all blame on the police for it.

Gives new meaning to the term: gutter ball.

The operators of the "Booty Lounge" say on their company's Facebook page that the red and black bus can be hired for private parties and is available with or without "ladys."

"ladys" in quotations?

Is this insinuating that the strippers are not what they seem to be?

I'll pass.

Considering they can't even spell ladies, I wouldn't read too much into the grammatical usage of quotations there.

Saints @ Jags. If the Saints are a Super Bowl contender, this is the kind of game that they should win with some ease.

I am most curious about Steelers at Texans. Both teams have a lot to prove in this game. And I have no idea which, if either, of them is for real.

Could be a trap game for the Saints coming off tough battle with the Texans.
Steelers are coming off a lackluster performance against the QBless Colts.
Texans/Steelers could be a defensive struggle.

Don't really agree with that statement. I think Philly, Chicago, Green Bay, San Diego, and Tampa are all solid picks to win.

Really? I'd say a healthy GB at home against a crappy Denver team is as easy as it gets. The last poster laid out some other pretty easy ones as well.

I would say San Diego is a lock over Miami, but, they are coached by Norv Turner. Nothing is easy when he's the head coach.

I'll just say that there will probably be some disappointed fans, whose team thought they should win.

Winless teams desperate for a win, unbeaten teams falling in a trap.

Should be interesting to see how the Lions perform this week in Dallas.

Dallas didn't look great against Washington. Felix Jones ran the ball pretty well and so long as he can stay on the field, Dez Bryant is very dangerous. The rest of the wideouts really didn't look all that impressive.

I think Rob Ryan has done a great job with the defense and DeMarcus Ware will give Jeff Backus fits all game, as will Anthony Spencer for whoever is starting at right tackle.

While it's no fault of their own, the teams the Lions have beat are a collective 2-7.

If the Lions do manage to pull this out and they go into the Monday night game against the Bears 4-0, the Ford field could be like Thunderdome, or worse, the Silverdome.

Great line from Terrell Suggs on NYJ-BAL, on Rex Ryan's return to Baltimore

Terrell Suggs, Baltimore Ravens hoping to defeat Rex Ryan, New York Jets again in Week 4 - Don Banks - SI.com

Quote:
"We loved him when he was here,'' Suggs said Wednesday, in a lunch-hour phone interview. "Him and [current Jets defensive coordinator and ex-Ravens outside linebackers coach] Mike Pettine are responsible for a lot of guys here and what they've done in their careers, mine included. I love playing against Rex, because I think he gets to see his finest work up close. If he's Michelangelo, I was his Sistine Chapel. He gets to see what he created. He gets to coach against the very beast, the monster, he helped create.''

I would be surprised if Dallas can pull off the win. Romo is not 100%, Bryant, if he even plays, isn't close to 100%. Detroit can very easily just rush four all game and still get good pressure. Dallas has done well defensively, much better than I expected, but they've also faced Sanchez, Alex Smith, and Grossman at QB, to say nothing of the fact they haven't played a WR like Calvin Johnson, who has at least 7 inches on all their CBs. The only positive things are the Lions will probably struggle to run the ball and will be under pressure from Dallas' decent pass rush.

So we have the idiot officials this week in Philly.

Smith throws a pass into the flat which was clearly forward and dropped but ruled a fumble. Then they say that the Niners are challenging if it was complete or not rather than if it was a forward pass.

Thanks for wasting a challenge.

Cowboys up 7-0 on the Lions.

I think this is a pretty big game for Dallas. Washington and New York are off to 2-1 starts, everyone knows what the Eagles are supposed to be. Detroit is a team that has a good chance of being involved with wildcard tiebreakers later in the year. If Dallas aspires to being a playoff team this year, this would be the type of game they will need to win.

hey would you look at that-Carolina and Chicago both actually do have running games. Carolina was mostly runs in their first series, and Chicago ran the ball on every down including a failed QB draw near the goal line on 3rd down. I guess Mike Martz got the memo after the team ran for 12 yards last week. All three running backs had big runs for each team-Jay Cutler and Cam Newton look very happy so far.

And Newton perhaps should have stayed with the run, threw ball too high, got tipped into the hands of a Chicago defender for the Pick-6.

Man, Devin Hester broke one tackle on a punt return, and boom he's gone for a TD-setting a record for most punt returns for a TD in NFL history.
