Anyone else have home weather stations?

I've had one for a while, but it had no interface to a PC. I picked up one the other day at Costco, from Lacrosse, that had a USB interface for PC data collection. I also found an app that allowed uploads to Weather Underground. I'm a techie, and found this stuff amazing. I got the uploads configured, and it has been feeding data since this afternoon. The link is:

I also just installed a WiFi enabled thermostat for the house, and have been playing with that as well. Ain't technology grand!

Basically you can program it to do a lot more stuff, especially if it's one of the ones that is tied into your home automation or security system. Time Warner Cable has them available with their IntelligentHome service. You can have it turn the heat on if someone comes home at a specific time, or not do it if they don't come home til later, things like that and a lot more.

The one I picked up was the Lacrosse WS-2813U-IT. Costco had them for $80. It includes a temperature/humidity sensor, auto emptying rain gauge, and a wind speed/direction sensor. There is an inside display, and a USB dongle to get the data to your computer.

As for the Wi-Fi thermostat, there is an iPhone app that allows me to control the thermostat from anywhere. Since I travel a lot, this is going to be nice, because I can turn everything back on when I'm an hour away from home. Or if I forget to turn things off before I leave for a week, I can still do so. This one was from 3M, under the Filtrete brand. Home Depot has them for $100. That is a good deal, as the other ones I've seen run $250+ and require a monthly subscription.
