I took my kids to see it this afternoon. They enjoyed it, I hated it. I never liked the Muppets on TV when I was younger...it's just not for me.

TV series in development. Glad to see. Kids of today need entertainment that is not CGI.

Fantastic show. Took my kids to see it (4 & 2) and they loved it. Thought it was true to the originals and in many cases was better. My 4 year old wants to go see it again, so we may have to make a return trip. I don't think either of us can be patient enough to wait for the at-home releases.

My daughter (4) has asked me nearly every day since it came out when I am going to take her. Then she sees a commercial for it and asks again. Needless to say, I will be taking her soon

Lots of love for the movie in the "Last Movie I watched" thread, too. Very, very fun stuff.

It's amazing how a pack of singing puppets have been able independently connect with kids 50 years apart.

If I'm a man, that makes me a muppet of a man!

That movie has one of the best/most hilarious power ballads ever

My wife and I enjoyed it. My teenager groaned through the whole thing, I think to let us know how much he wasn't happy about us dragging him to a "lame" movie.

BTW.....for those that enjoyed the music, there's an app on iPhone called Tap Muppets. It has all the songs on the movie. It's free.

And Jason Segel was so into it/hamming it up during the song, which made it even funnier.

As I mentioned in the Movies thread, I thought the music was fairly mediocre, tho. The musical numbers were well done but the new songs were eminently forgettable.

Picked up the Blu-ray/DVD combo today. Ready to start watching it with my five year old. We're both pretty fired up to see it again.

I haven't seen it, but my wife took two of our kids and she thought the human acting was terrible but liked the muppets.

Anyone else see it and think that?

The acting is intentionally over the top and they don't take themselves too seriously. It's a lot like 'Enchanted' in that regard.

Forgot how many quality cameos were in the movie. Good ones that make you laugh just by their timing and location in the movie.

Watched it Tuesday with the kids and we all loved it. Two days later we are all periodically blurting out Ma na ma na.

I think it just go to our "cheap seats" movie theatre...if I don't get a chance to take the 4-year-old to it there, I will definitely be picking up a copy. My wife couldn't care less about the Muppets, but I have always loved them and every time Grace sees commercials she thinks they are pretty cool too. So at least I got that going for me

The Muppets is the only live action movie my little guy will watch. If its not that, then Miyazaki or anything else that is animated will work, but no Reservoir Dogs yet.

My girls and I watched the movie twice today again. Ma-na-ma-na echoes through the house all day long.

Just saw this again on a free Starz or whatever preview over Thanksgiving and it really was as good as I remembered in the theater. The use of meta fiction is excellent, particularly in the first half of the movie.
