head coach-record or reputation?
when hiring a head coach should you look more at winning record or at reputation(ratings on playcalling etc)? i have seen quite a few winning record head coaches with low playcalling ability is this down to the team they are coaching or is the rep simply wrong?? or does none of it make any difference...i ask as i have an excellent off and def playcaller but we still have a losing record

Since, obviously, all the good play calling the world doesn't make up for lack of talent on the field, and assuming what searmh means is "I consistently don't win as often as I should compared to other teams with the same/less talent", then the real question is, do HCs have hidden attributes beyond the ratings that you see that make some "winners"? |

Honestly, I never put much thought in this, other than when one of the HC attributes was clearly broken and seemed to worked in reverse (poor being good for the team, excellent being horrible). Now, I just make sure to get the best all across. End result being that I have no idea whether to not have a good playcaller will be bad for your team...
