noob q on roster creation

Hi, Im brand new to this game, I did a lot of work on roster files for FBPro years back. Figured out pretty quick how I go about making rosters, ratings etc and replacing the players that come with the game.

couple of qs though:

1) Is it possible to run a season, and then edit the rosters? (export then import) or would I need to create a draft file to get new players in and then manually move the players around.

2) The game starts at the 2010 begining of season, is it possible to change that ?

3) can you edit schedules?
