Netflix with Blu Ray help...
There are a lot of tech-savvy people on this forum, so I thought I'd give this a whirl:
Last week I finally bought a blu ray (Samsung), but I'm having issues getting Netflix to stream on it. (I should note here that the player as built-in wifi, and that Pandora and other apps appear to work fine). When I try to run Netflix on the blu ray, it gives me the access code to type in at netflix.com, which I do. But before Netflix even validates it, the blu ray gives me the error, "Code expired, try a new code." THEN Netflix DOES validate my original code, but by then it's expired. And wash, rinse, repeat... Samsung of course blamed Netflix, and vice versa... I tried googling around a bit, but didn't see anything definitive. Anybody have a similar experience and know a solution? Thanks in advance! |

Is there a firmware update for the player?

Yes, make sure you've done the firmware update. And make sure you type them in quick, but it sure seems like the handshake between the device and Netflix is FUBAR. Given that it works with other devices, my vote would be an issue with the Samsung.
