Is there a modern-day Aerobiz game?

I know there are a lot of those "management" games around here (and I think this site used to have a football game IIRC????), but is there one similar to Aerobiz/Aerobiz Supersonic?

Those games were ahead of their time and a lot of fun haha

I'm seeing a ton of MMOG's for this sort of thing, but I'm not planning on getting THAT deep into this. Wish there was an actual game, but I'm not finding one.

I used to play games like that quite often in the 90s. Aerobiz, Theme Hospital, Detroit, Pizza Tycoon, Transport Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, etc. I guess they just aren't that popular anymore.

I think market saturation might have killed them off for awhile. After Roller Coaster Tycoon became a huge hit, you had Tycoon games for every possible business and 99% of them were thrown together in a few months and sucked.

As far as an Aerobiz type game, I can't think of one off the top of my head. I just looked through Steam and found "Airline Tycoon 2", but the description calls it "tongue-in-cheek" so not a serious sim game.

Airline Tycoon 2 on team might be in the ballpark of what you're looking for.

I recently found Airlines 2 at Half Price Books. It's a much more serious game, although I think I got lost in the minutia of the first one.

Airlines 2 - PC - GameSpy

Still, that game is 10 years old.

You could always download a Genesis or SNES emulator and play the original
