Know it's been gone over a million times but

Has anybody ever gotten this?

Hard drive fried in the hurricane so fixed it. Setup the game on PC . Catch is now I have Windows 7 . Lost my XP disc. So how hard could this be??? Anyway I did everything according to plan. All the files for my league in app data /roam/...blah blah.... Start up the game . Tried to put my team password in and nothing happened. It was ignoring it. So I closed the game. Opened game tried again and right before the enter password screen could come up I got this message

"unable to load game data file saved game is missing"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game about 10 times and tried everything I know and read on here that I could understand...which isn't much.....and same message every time.
