Odd Retirements...

I just began a new season and the first thing I do is check the retirement list. The current reigning 1st Team RB and Offensive Player of the Year retired at age 30. He had no injuries. He still had two years left on a $25.07 million contract.

Odd...

RBs careers are like the lives of flies. Watch out for those early drops, too.

I just had my own Barry Sanders.

Had a guy play RB for my team for 8 years. He totaled 12,641 yards rushing in those 8 years, was a two time league MVP, and in his final season gained 2,007 yards rushing. Following the season he retired at 28. Wish he would have came back, but I rode him hard. He was still rated 83/83 at the time of his retirement.
