Any Paleo Dieters in the house?

A very good friend of mine is running a Kickstarter project that begins tomorrow. She's hoping to develop a Paleo Kitchen space in San Francisco. Her roommate was diagnosed with celiac disease a while back, and she started getting very into the paleo diet because of it. They've got a pretty fantastic product and I'd like to help spread the word. If it's something you're at all interested in, give it a look.

A friend does it and he has lost a good 80 -90 pounds.

Of course he is eating macadamia nuts, almond butter, sardines, and corned beef.

It is like the Atkins diet with an attitude

My wife really got into this for a few months. So, that means I got into it.

Taste-wise it wasn't my favorite diet, but it did have the promised effects. I felt a lot better and lost some weight. To me, it didn't seem too terribly different from, say, the Atkins diet - the theme being NO CARBS - but was presented a little differently and had some other twists.

It was a lot of salads and some meat.

Also, I can brag that I dated one all through college. Those were good times. Actually, MrBug met her at one NCAA Soccer match.
