Adrian Peterson is not human. Rodgers has had chances vs the Bears defense and has missed. Would be nice if GB defense could tackle and Crosby should be put out to pasture.

At what point do discussions about Adrian Peterson being in the "best of all time" category begin? Dude is incredible.

Rams shame on you-you realize that's Christian Ponder that's stomping your team right?

Why are the Vikings passing? Only bad thing that let the Rams back in the game can happen from pass plays.

It's AP and the defense stomping them, Ponder isn't doing shit besides turning TD chances into FGs and nearly getting receivers killed.

By my math, Houston, Baltimore and Green Bay can all win their divisions today with a simple win. San Francisco also needs a Seattle loss to secure the division title. Atlanta is in position to lock up a bye, potentially home field advantage if both Green Bay and San Francisco lose.

Falcons look like a different team from last week. I learned decades ago though not to be too optimistic about this team in the playoffs.

Rodgers and Jones have taken over the game. One more LOL Cutler INT and this one will be over. These teams like Chicago and Baltimore have to realize that you can have as many different O-Coordinators as you want, it's all about QB play and that's why they'll never win a Superbowl with their current QB situation.

What are you doing, McCarthy? The Bears are only in this because of Crosby and Grant, two guys who shouldn't be playing football anymore. Jesus.

Watt has been huge today with 3 sacks and 6 tackles for loss so far.

I believe a rematch of this game is a distinct possibility for the Falcons 1st playoff game. I'd expect the outcome to bear no resemblance to today's game.
It's the Falcons.

Yeah, 19.5 sacks out of a 3/4 DE is like Bruce Smith-esque(and he probably never had that many)

I apologize on behalf of my fellow Cardinals fans for the offensive debacle you are about to see. Kevin Kolb got moved to the regular IR, so its apparently the rookie for the rest of the season.

If they both win out, yes. Washington's final two games are both against division opponents, only one of the Giants games is against a division opponent, so they could both finish 9-7 with the same division record if it plays out just right. Next tiebreaker is record vs common opponents, not sure how that one goes.

So the Giants might not even make the playoffs if they win their last two and can essentially be out if they lose at Baltimore next week.

Packers clinch another division title but made it much harder than it had to be thanks to the triumvirate of McCarthy, Crosby and Ryan Grant. They won't be as fortunate in the playoffs to go up against teams as inept offensively as the Bears. Hopefully NE can win tonight giving the Packers a good chance at #2 seed. If NYG doesn't make the playoffs that eliminates their biggest competition.

Yeah, there's no scenario for NYG to win a tiebreaker against WAS. They will be behind in division record in any combination of games where they end up tied.

It gets more complicated if there's a three way tie with Dallas. The first tiebreaker is combined games among the three teams.

Right now:

Dallas: 1-2
Giants: 2-2
Washington: 2-1

If Washington beats Dallas in week 17 then they will win the three way tiebreaker as well. If Dallas beats Washington, but loses week 16, while Washington wins week 16 and Giants split their final two, then it goes to 2nd tiebreaker and Giants are eliminated by division record. Then it reverts to the two team tiebreaker between Dallas and Washington and goes to team with best record in common games, which I'm too lazy to look up.

NYG have 3 division losses, Washington only has 1 so there's really no way for NYG to win the tiebreaker. Redskins would need to lose their last two and go 8-8. If that's the case then NYG would need to split their last two and go 9-7 to beat Washington outright. If NYG also lost their last 2 and went 8-8 then that would mean they lost to Philly giving them their 4th division loss.

Peterson finished with 1812 yards, he needs to average 147 in the last two games to pass Dickerson.

You can run playoff scenarios through this simulator. Giants probably have a better chance at the wildcard at this point, with Chicago losing today. Looks like they can win conference tiebreakers vs Chicago and Seattle.

Seattle is almost definitely going at least 10-6. I think it'll be a however many dog fight for the last spot at 9-7

I was going to comment on that as well. That's ridiculous with all the bullshit rules this league has, a drunk driving killer is allowed on the sidelines 10 days after he killed someone?

Btw, not worth getting into the argument, but games like today are why people have so much trouble buying into Eli being an "elite" QB. Just so schizophrenic.

PS - Brady has a 104-20 TD/INT ratio over the last 3 years - I just feel like that needs pointing out. Can't wait to see him match-up against SF's defense.

Looks like Dallas has the common games tiebreaker. It has them winning the division in a three way 9-7 tie if they lose in week 16 but beat
the Skins in week 17.
