GMLeague openings

GMLeague: No gameplanning required.

Season will end soon, time to jump in and start with one of these teams in the upcoming Free Agency and Draft:

As of right now these teams are definitely available:

STL
TEN
GBY
DET

Sent a message on the forum there but I'll take the Packers if available.

This league is quickly becoming one of my favorites because it puts an end to some of the exploits that are known to occur in leagues with game planning. I find myself actually growing more attached to my players because I have that helplessness of sort of just being a fan of the team (even though I set the lineups and sign the players). This is a great league for those who want to play MP but feel overwhelmed by the game planning aspect of things.

I agree, I actually feel that the computer set game plans produce more of a feel of a real football game. Setting game plans sometimes seems like an unhappy split between trying to pander to exploits in the game system and also finding that most game plan settings don't make much difference.

Have to love a league where the top QB is Mr. Anderson.

it should be noted ths is a BELCO cap crunch league. so not only do we have the expert emeritus as commish we also use the communities best mod.

2 teams still available:

DET- plenty of talent and well under the cap
STL- probably a QB away from being a serious contender. has the league's best WR coming off a 2k yard season

stage one of coach hiring starts tomorrow so plenty of time to craft a team

I gave in and joined after Yoda talked me into it.

I think its a great overall idea. Not having to game plan each game and just trusting your roster building (with a 30% cap reduction) is so far a lot of fun.

I've won a lot with gimmick game plans but I won't be able to do this here.
