Scout/Coach rating ...

Probably there is the answer in one old thread but I like to know if the scout/coach ratings can change or remain always the same season after season. Thanks.

They change. The young ones usually improve and the older ones eventually start declining.

Was wondering this myself some time ago. Good to know that my suspicions were correct.

You know, I completely forgot that Extractor still has the ability to extract coach ratings. It's not as easy to do given that the coaches don't have IDs that are easily managed (they CAN be backed out, but you have to do it via the transactions dump), but there's really no reason yearly coach ratings couldn't be tracked.

Hmm. Now I kinda want to go back and reconstruct these. If I made a few changes to the Stelmack dumps to swap out the text "Position" for a lookup ID, the team for a team ID, then link that to the franchise history table rather than actually extracting seasonal w/l...
