For reference, this is a fairly new league created with a new principle in mind -- let the "free market" do all the work.

So, no contracts may ever be renegotiated, and none of your "restricted" free agents may be extended (except one extension for guys taken after the first round).

The hope/expectation is that the league will see a very, very robust free agent market develop, and that this will be the heart and soul of the league. So, if you're a little sick of playing MP FOF and envying the teams who have superstar players through whatever means - WOOF might be a way to turn that around. There's no way to simply get a player and stash him forever in WOOF, every single guy is going to hit the open market in time.

Have a look... you might be arriving at the right time, as the league's initial FA period was three seasons ago, meaning a ton of good players who initially signed for 3yr deals are stepping into free agency in the days ahead. A massive rebuild/reshape for your new team is very much on the table, if you get in now.
