Interesting Series V Team

The Pajama Boys, of V.4, have never been to Series IV. He's entering his fith season in that division.

He suffered his first loss of the season this Sunday. He was most likely MOTSed. He's in second in his division. These were his ratings:

Midfield: passable
Right Side Defence: brilliant
Central Defence: brilliant
Left Side Defence: magnificent
Right Side Attack: excellent
Central Attack: magnificent
Left Side Attack: solid

That includes 3 ****+ forwards. Just goes to show you that some divisions are unbelievably tough.

I would probably quit if my series was that tough.

It's all about luck of the draw I think. I only started about 4-5 weeks ago and am locked solidly into the 6th position in my series (v.152). However, I'd be ranked # 1 or 2 in a few other serie putting up the same exact numbers from week to week. (Avg 45 rating)

And I PIC every league game, posting 38-42 ratings, and I'm solidly in first, 5-0 with 20-1 for goals for/against. Oh yeah, I play an all-bot division V league

Yeah, there is a slight discrepancy between league quality levels. I'm in a (theoretically) all-human league, and there's no-one else within ten rating points of me. Played five, won five, scored 27, conceded none. I'm actually planning to play my trainees in the league games while the FOFC Cup's on and save my good players for the friendlies.

Don't tell anyone, but I plan on doing just the same, while even PICing all my league games Ooops, it's out!

I'm in V.56 which is just under V.4 in difficulty. I like the idea of competition...I like the idea of dominant teams, but really it is hard...I like my team though, so wouldn't plan or giving up...but I think the new team (just replaced Inquisition) is just going to fold until it gets relegated to div 6, which may not be a bad idea when you are in a tough div and have a poor team.

i'm playing in V.103 which is like 30 something in series strength according to hatstats... i'm holding down 4th so far and could end up being second by the end of the year depending on how things bounce

I'm in third and Airhog is second in V.47, the 37th most difficult division last week. I'm kinda proud of that. FOFC is regulatin'.

EDIT: Although, to be fair, the top team in our series kind of skewers the ratings. They're pretty darn good.

Just be glad you werent here last season, brookside blackcats totally dominated everyone. At least Crispy has shown he could be beaten with a quality team. But it may not get any better ethier, if we get another good relegated team, we might be in the same boat next year. Im just hoping that next season, I can be good enough to make a serious run for promotion.

I play in a pretty bad division overall, like 170 out of about 250 or how many D.V divisions there are. All are human teams, but none of us are that spectacular, I think if I were in any other division I wouldn't be undefeated or in 1st place.

I play in a league with the Ammish Commando's, a pretty damn good team. We are ranked 1-2, and just played a 2-2 draw this week that should have been up for consideration for Match of the Week. Last year we finished 1st and 3rd, but I got the win in the season finale, a match that ended up costing him a promotion to div IV. His team is a notch above mine, but somehow we always seem to play him tough.

The Groton Sunday's and the AC Bair are 2 teams that are rapidly climbing our division. Div V.13 is definately not one of the easier league's in division V. I have a team that easily could have been promoted in some of the other leagues in Division V last year, but I think its good for any team to get at least 2 seasons in at Div V before getting a promotion.

Heavy Reign and I are both locked in a 4-way battle for first in V.193...We have 4 solid teams and 4 bad teams...really good race though, and Even though the TSU Texans and my Blade Bombers are puttin up higher ratings, the other two are on top...ill get them back though...ive got a home and away coming for my next two league matches with Heavy's boys...need at least one, but just had to sell one of my mddies to make up some debt money...wondering when my "right about to pop" goalie is bumbing to solid so i can finally train playmaking or something...i need it bad, but i think if i can get a solid keeper at 19, he can carry my team for seasons...
