Struggling to get a FoF7 multiplayer game to work
Sorry if this thread is in the wrong location, please mods move it if thats the case.
I am having issues setting up a multiplayer league on FOF seven I have been able to get users to download my league details if I have my windows firewall turned OFF - I am using filezilla FTP to use my computer as the server. I have port 21 open on my routers firewall. When they go to import the file (again I need my firewall turned off) it uploads the file to my imports folder but deletes it straight after. Is there a step by step guide how to set up a league using filezilla and your own PC as a server? How can I leave my firewall on and allow users via filezilla FTP permissions to access it? How can I manage the imports correctly? as whatever I do the imports never work and say there isnt anything to import - even if I do the changes myself as a player and export my own changes. Its a real headache. I am not good at this kind of thing either. the FTP stuff the users are inputting are my IP as the server name base address as C:\Users\XXXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Seven\export\nfl2013a Then using the filezilla users details I created for username and password Is anything I am doing wrong? Many thanks Last edited by Umbo : 12-15-2013 at 01:35 PM. |
