Jelmer van Vuuren - He is kinda old, but I would think you can maybe get around $80,000 for him.

Jean-Felix Saint-Hilaire - Head specialist + solid set pieces...still pretty young, I think you could maybe get around $120,000 for him.

I'd try Hilaire at about 200k...the problem is we are at the halfway point and the pricing are going to come down soon...

Since I can't find any more recent threads on this topic, and since an attempt to find similar players in Sweden didn't help much, how much would you be willing to pay for:

Uhana Jagannathan
19_333_£,_22 years, poor_form
Has wretched experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Head]

Stamina:_ solid _ _ Keeper:_ wretched
Playmaking:_ passable _ _ Passing:_ weak
Winger:_ poor _ _ Defending:_ weak
Scoring:_ poor _ _ Set Pieces:_ poor

The thing about the Swedish market is that it was offering a rather better idea of what the sellers thought similar players were worth than of what the buyers thought. An opening price that hasn't been bid on doesn't really say much about the player's value.

I managed to get a very similar player for $17,000 US. I think you could get anywhere up from $20,000 - 40,000. If his form went up to say inadequate, you'd probably up that range by about $10,000 or more.

Update on my two players, if anyone cares. Nobody bid on Saint-Hilaire at 200,000, so I decided to keep him as my centerpiece. Van Vuuren, who I had bought for 79,000 the day before was sold for 120,000, so I was happy.

I definately think we should sticky a valuation thread underneath the transfer thread.

Out of curiosity, a question for those more familiar with the market than I am:

Code:
Nathan Healy (11472985) 17 years, passable form, healthy A pleasant guy who is balanced and upright. Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities. Speciality: Quick Assessed value: 71 000 US$ Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: inadequate Passing: passable Winger: wretched Defending: weak Scoring: poor Set Pieces: weak

Would starting him off at 50 000 be out of the question? Is it possible for him to go in that range or, even better, above it?

I just sold a 17yo weak PM, passable Passing, for 17K. His assessed value was only 18K, so I imagine Healy would fetch 50K easily.

Havok - Not too much. I don't know exact numbers, but with his poor secondaries and the lack of winger trainers he won't fetch nearly as much as an 18yo solid PM/Scorer/Defender.
