Why didn't my team draft a LS?

I thought I remembered seeing a while back that this was a bug in the initial FOF7 release but was later fixed in a patch. I started a new game today, did an auto draft but when I try to play the first exhibition game I get the message that I need a long snapper. I have version 7.0b. Tried to do a search but couldn't find a thread about this issue being fixed. If it is a required position, the AI should make sure every team drafts one in the allocation draft.
