Visiting Charlotte, NC
Ok, I'm visiting Charlotte, NC the weekend of 8/1-3 for the Liverpool game. I will have my wife and 2 youngsters with me, we are doing some discovery museum saturday morning before the game. Any cool restaurants in Charlotte that aren't crazy expensive that I can hit with the kids?

Price's Chicken Coop! You know it's good chicken because it's cash only and they might charge you a nickel for mustard or hot sauce.
(I hope the hours--10 to 6, Tuesday to Saturday--can work for you.) Price's Chicken Coop |

Sending an out of towner to the Coop is a bit sketchy...great chicken though!
If anyone is a NASCAR fan there is the new NASCAR HOF and a ton of race shops around town that are cool to visit. COWFISH is good. LIBERTY is a nice lunch spot close to discovery place. Pinkys has the best burger in town. |
