IWS #225 – Disney – The Results


#1 – How far ahead of time did Stupid start planning this trip to Disney?

1 year – 6
6 months – 6
3 months – 1

Not an eliminator but only a few possible answers as it turns out. I thought 7 months or 9 months would get more love since those are the dining deadlines but stupid likes easy answers.

#2 – Stupid loves everything that is Disney. Many days at the parks are spent enjoying rope drop, spending his fast passes, eating at restaurants which he has acquired reservations months in advance and spotting hidden Mickey’s. How many hours does Stupid spend per day at Disney theme parks while he is on Disney property?

10 hours – 7
12 hours – 4
8 hours – 2

I thought Stupid may factor in extra magic hours, late night rides and other day long goodies to come up with 12 hours. Half day. Nice easy answer. Nope, the round answer won out.

#3 – The best ride at all of Disney is obviously Toy Story Mania so Stupid and his wife have set up fast passes for the morning and afternoon. However, they cannot get enough fun and decide to return later that night to ride again. How long do they wait in line to ride the best damn ride in all that is Disney?

2.5 hours – 1

Too easy for Stupid to answer 1 for this one… an eliminator no doubt. Toy Story Mania is easily the longest wait at Disney so I thought 2 hours and 3 hours would get more love. For the record my personal long wait for this ride is 145 minutes.

#4 – After a long day at the parks and dealing with all that is fun Stupid likes to unwind with some libations and his favorite cigar at night. He has chosen a glass of Lagavulin 16 year scotch. What brand of cigar does he select to match the richness of his drink?

A curveball… have to keep Stupid on his toes sometimes. The most marketed brand easily won out in this contest.

#5 – Stupid wants to spend a day off of Disney property and thus has scheduled a nice day long side trip into the schedule. The plan is to leave at approximately 8am and return by 10pm. What is Stupid’s destination?

Universal Studios – 4
Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral) – 3

Some knowledge of Florida is obviously needed as well as picking something that fit sinto a “day trip” category. My one day trip in my visits so far was Universal Studios so it turns out Stupid wasn’t so stupid after all.

#6 – How many pairs of mouse ears does Stupid bring back from his trip to Disney World?
