"Look at the butt on that!? Yeah, he must work out."

This thread is about tight ends.

Encouraged by stalking the FOF GroupThink thread, I picked up FOF7 for the first time since shortly after I purchased the product. I love FOF, but after years of playing, I was really burnt out and had other things pulling my interest.

So, in my first career, I come across this bad boy:

For those who know me from FOF MP, they know I love me some tight ends, and this guy looks to be a really, really nice tight end! I usually build around a short/intermediate passing game using almost all exclusively two-TE sets.

He has the highest grade of any player in the class by raw grade:

Also, although combines apparently have more noise than usual, T-Webb's numbers are insane. Just scrolling through the FOFL Combines Database, only four other players had sub-4.60 dash, three had a similar or better agility score and he would place in the top five of all other combine categories.

I'm going to take him 1.3. I'll report back with progress. I might also start a separate dynasty thread, but let's take it one step at a time here.

Any comments/thoughts appreciated.

That TE looks almost certain to have awesome bars. Wonder what kind of usage you'll be able to get out of him, and if it'll justify the 1.3. You ought to try it, though!

So, I'm still not even at the draft yet as I'm slowly working my way through free agency.

One thing is certain, T-Webb will be catching passes from either Sam Bradford or Kyle Orton this year.

Sissified passing offense here we come, wheee!!!

My go to setup in FOF7 is stud WR and TE. Two stud WRs is nice and all, but it feels a bit like wasted money as they're so expensive to keep around.

That said, I also prefer an intermediate passing game, so the changes in FOF7 have allowed me to play how I want to AND do better.
