Injuries in the new game
I've heard a lot of comments about how injuries are much worse in the new version. Is there anyone who has noticed the exact opposite? Since the change my CFL Lions rarely suffer injuries, and then usually mild ones. Our trainers (we've had two) have had about 75 in the conditioning bar, which seems alright but hardly elite.

My injuries in the NAFL have been horrible this year. Starting QB out for significant time, stud SS out for the year, starting CB out for significant time, 3 OGs injured at one point along with starting OT, 3rd WR out for year and probably ruined. I've never seen anything like it. It has been improving lately but the beginning of the season was real bad. I don't skimp on TC either.

I have my injury setting at 200 and still haven't reached the injury levels of a typical real-life Patriots season.

It astounds me that people think injury rates aren't higher in FOF7. My teams have been absolutely ravaged after the conversion to FOF7 and that continued even after I got better Strength Coaches.

I do think that in general injuries are higher, but I'd like confirmation that, for some teams, injuries are also way lower. This is not just one season I'm talking about, we're going on the third and frankly, it's ridiculous how injury-free we are.
For the record, injuries are at 100 in his league. |

I can't remember how or why, but mine is set at 225. Maybe that's default, or something I read on the forums somewhere?

The difference between 200 and 50 was very large in IHOF. At 200 (and all teams playing on excellent turf), about a third of the teams was depleted by injuries, forced to cut and sign players after every game or two. The change to 50 sent the league to the other end of things, the number of injuries plummeted to 5 injured players (including those probable) being a rarity.

225? That's criminal... those players are going to sue your butt out of all that luxury box money

I'm pretty sure that's the number Jim recommended as most similar to real life, albeit a high number. Seems fine into week 3 of regular season.
