Couple of random questions
1) Has anybody played with a setting of 0 for cap increases year to year? Does this break the finances in the game somehow?
2) I took a New Orleans team with bottom of the league attendance and no fan interest and moved them to LA who had 100% desire for a team. When we arrived in LA, the fan loyalty and attendance was still rock bottom. Is this a potential bug, or am I missing something? Shouldn't I get a pretty hefty boost in these categories upon arriving in my new city?

I use zero for cap finances. I'm 80 years into my league and everything is fine.

I had the same thing happen upon my move to LA. It was pretty disheartening to go through those years of stadium payments only to finally move and then draw 24,000 people a game in my new home. Attendance has crept up a thousand or so each year since I've been there (and that was after I won a super bowl in my first year in LA.)

I haven't looked at LA in-game, but could this be because of competition from other sports teams (ie not just football)? I can see it might take time to become part of the local culture, but that the pool you are drawing from is huge and the payoffs down the track would be worth the wait...

Imho attendance isn't a huge factor in the game, so maxing it out isn't a HUGE deal, however attendance picks up significantly after a few winning seasons. Usually.
Otherwise, drop your ticket prices. Rex it and then drop it a fee dollars more until your seats are filled. Last edited by garion333 : 10-26-2014 at 05:29 PM. |
