resting/benching guys before playoffs...

I'm on a 14 game winning streak and have clinched homefield for the playoffs..

I'd like to rest some guys the last week of the season so they don't get hurt..

Am I sacrificing any cohesion by doing this? Will the guys get "rust" since they will essentially have two weeks off?

Just wondering how this works in FOF,,,, Any thoughts....?

Cohesion is I believe calculated on a per-play basis from the 11 players on the field for that play. They won't get rust, either.

It's single player, so I'd go for 19-0. If you don't get it, you can always bang through another season. But in MP, I usually start holding guys in reserve when I can.

I suppose one thing is you might get players Disgruntled, but that doesn't have any in-game effects, does it?

At the worst you might get a guy or 2 who'll get disgruntled... and im almost positive they wont regain their normal attitude in the playoffs (with their normal starting status) for whatever reason, same applies to preseason with an attitude carrying over from the previous season.

No clue to what degree attitude affects cohesion.
