Help in finding a desktop PC for non-gaming
I've been tasked with finding a new desktop PC for my dad (just the tower, keyboard and mouse - no monitor). He uses it to run his business (farm equipment sales), so he just will use email, MS Office, IE/firefox browser and some fairly low horsepower programs.
He will need to buy a license for MS Office, so I was wondering if any of you guys had recommendations on a site that sells a cheaper desktop sans monitor. I was going to check Dell, Amazon, Best Buy, etc - but I know he doesn't want to spend a ton. Thanks! |

I'm thinking maybe an i-3 or i-5, with Windows 7 (not sure he could handle 8 as he is still on XP on his current one), 4 GB RAM and a decent HD.

Well regarding windows, isn't 10 coming out soon and will be a free upgrade to anyone using 7 or 8?

I actually found this one and think it will work. It has an i-3, but that should be OK:
