Best way to clone a Hard Drive
Pretty sure the HDD in my parents' older laptop is dying. I have a USB HDD kit so I was just going to straight copy the drive. Found some program called Macrium Reflect, but it's taking forever.
Anything better? Also would I be better off cloning the HDD after I upgrade to Windows 10 or before? |

If the HDD is dying, I'd clone before upgrading to Windows 10.
As for cloning software, my go to app is Clonezilla. It is open source, and works great. You burn it to a CD/DVD, boot to it, and follow the prompts.
