Coaches
I know we have talked about firing coachs before, but I would like some advice on my coaching situation. I really want to fire my coach and replace with a solid one.
Pedro Dixon (8926364) 39 years, poor form, healthy A inadequate coach who is fond of attacking A pleasant guy who is balanced and dishonest. Has excellent experience and inadequate leadership abilities. But the problem is that my team is winning right now and sitting in 2nd place. Team spirt is composed and team confidence is wonderful. I am afraid that a coaching change will effect team convidence and it will result in the team playing poorly in its next games. Is this correct? How much will the change effect my team in the short run, i know that the change has to be made for the long run. |

One more thing... My next game is against the #5 ranked team in my series and I dont think they will pose much of a threat.

Wait until a game you don't think you can win or will be very close, MOTS it, and then do the coaching change. No reason now (besides added training) as your TS is good. If you are just going to kill everyone in your division, then it doesn't matter when you make the change.

Personally, I'd fire the coach. But RonnieDobbs strategy sounds more intriguing.

I think this is reason enough to change. It will not affect team confidence, and training players is crucial to your long term chances. |

I guess I meant if a big game is in the next 2 or 3 weeks, save it until then. If your big game is at the end of the season, you could be back a good number of weeks of training.

But there's no guarantee he'll get a better coach. I wasted 90K on getting a similar level replacement (passable). Just thought that topic should be mentioned.

Gary Strickland (11760588) 33 years, disastrous form, healthy A solid coach who is fond of attacking A pleasant guy who is calm and honest. Has excellent experience and inadequate leadership abilities. |

I feel your pain Eilim. The only difference was my new coach is defensive minded and he's worked wonders for the ratings my 'D' puts up now.
