My Journey Rewriting History 1960 - 2015
I have officially done it!!! After 4 plus months i have successfully went through all of nilodor draft files (2 other draft files from other people, sorry as i forgot who i got them from) and have made it from 1960 to the start of 2016. It took forever but I'm glad it didn't get erased. Below is a list of the top players through 2015. Feel free to ask about any player and their stats.
QB - Yards: Dan Marino - 69,595 QB - TD's: Bart Starr - 449 QB - Rating: Bar Starr - 104.2 RB - Yards: Walter Peyton - 16,118 RB - TD: Barry Sanders - 101 WR - Receptions: Michael Irvin - 1,452 WR - Yards: Michael Irvin - 19,345 WR - TD's: Boyd Dowler - 138 DEF - Tackles: Jack Reynolds - 1,485 DEF - Sacks: Gene Upshaw - 135.5 DEF - Interceptions Dave Webster - 80 Total Offense - Yards from Scrimage: Barry Sanders - 20,807 Total Offense - TD's: George Rogers 146 Most Super Bowl wins: Green Bay - 5 Most MVP's: Bart Starr - 6 |

Maybe I'm missing something, but how do you get the game to play at a start date that isn't 2015?

Glad I'm not the only one who is ignorant about the all-time great Boyd Dowler.

Someone needed to catch Starr's 449 TD passes!!! Dowler was a solid receiver in the era when passing as not dominate. Also, the FOF X-factor could have made him better than expected in this sim career. Last edited by Dawgfan19 : 02-04-2016 at 03:25 PM. |

Thumbs up! I'm glad you found a way through all the files. I hope you enjoyed it!
For curiosity, any teams not make a superbowl in that span? |

Sorry for the long delay. New born taking over my life.

I just started with nilodor roster file from 1960 and after the season was over just used his draft files until i reached 2015. Randall did incredibly well. 16 seasons (Drafted 1st overall pick in 1985 by the Bears, played whole career with CHI) 53,576 yards passing 318 passing TD 80.1 QB rating 5,237 Rushing Yards 26 Rushing TD Hall of Fame 1 Championship Ring. Just like real life, he didn't win a championship. Drafted 2nd overall in 1983 to the Arizona Cardinals. Played whole career with AZ. I was confused too. Played from 1960 - 1971 Montana: 14 Seasons (1st overall pick 1979 by the Jaguars, played whole career with JAX) 59,109 yards passing 365 passing TD 92.4 QB Rating Hall of Fame 1 Championship Rice: 14 Seasons (Drafted 5th overall in 1985 to CIN, played 13 seasons with CIN and his final season with DEN) 1,366 Receptions 17,511 Yards 95 Receiving TD (96 Total) Hall of Fame 0 Championships Young: 16 Seasons (Drafted 1st overall in 1984 by the Panthers, Played all 16 years with CAR) 54,947 yards passing 315 passing TD 3,836 rushing yards 17 rushing TD Hall of Fame 0 Championships Yes injuries ON Quote:
This took me a long time to finish as a couple of times i lost the league and had to start over. So kudos to you for creating all of this for us (me) to enjoy. Teams that didn't make the Super Bowl were only 2: Saints & AZ Cardinals |

Peyton Manning: 16 Seasons (6th overall pick 1998 by the Titans. Played 6 seasons with Tenn, 6 seasons with the Lions, 3 seasons with the Chargers and finished his career with Cleveland) 42,789 yards passing 217 passing TD 83 QB Rating 0 Super Bowl Rings I found the files on the board. Just search draft files and you should be able to find them. Quote:
1963 - Detroit Lions finished 16-0 (Finished 19-0 and won the Super Bowl) 1964 - Cleveland Browns finished 16-0 (Finished 19-0 and won the Super Bowl) 1965 - Rams finished 16-0 (Finished 17-1, lost in the League Championship vs the Cowboys) Quote:
Dan Hampton: 10 Seasons - (31st pick in the 4th round to the Carolina Panthers. Played 4 seasons with Carolina, 2 seasons with MIA, 1 season with PITT, 1 season with ARI, finished out career with NE 44.5 total sacks 2 Super Bowl Rings Steve Atwater: 9 Seasons (11th overall pick in the 1st round by the Houston Texans. Played 8 seasons with the Texans and played his final season with the Saints) 603 Total Tackles 7 Sacks 20 INT 7 Total TD's 0 Super Bowl Rings Darren McFadden: 10 Seasons (17th overall pick in the 1st round by the Ravens. Played 5 seasons with the Ravens, 1 season with Jax, 1 season with DEN, 1 season with the Chargers, back to the Ravens for 1 more season and is currently a FA) 6,195 Rushing Yards 35 Rushing TD's 402 Receptions 3,360 Receiving Yards 27 Receiving TD's 62 Total TD's 1 Super Bowl Ring Brandon Burlsworth (died after being drafted, always curipus how his career would turn out) I don't see him anywhere which means he either wasn't drafted and never signed on anywhere or who ever made the rosters didn't add him. |

This was a great read with the updates.
I'm curious did you control a team - and make moves in the offseason (FA, draft etc) or was there a way you just simmed season-by-season and let the computer control all teams. |

Unfortunately there is no way that i know of where you can just SIM seasons without controlling anyone. If there is, i just wasted a a bunch of months doing this LOL I am a Titans fan so i controlled them the whole time. I went through and did all the drafts and did all the FA signings. Funny thing is, i knew who to draft and who to sign because of real life but i still only won 1 super bowl in 4 tries. |
