Question Wingers - which secondary skill ?

What kind of secondary skills are you looking at for your wingers ? (assuming the most important is winger...)

1 - Passing
2 - Playmaking
3 - Stamina
4 - Defending

Right now my wingers are only passable at best in "winger" and I have $50K to spend on new player(s) and winger is where I am looking to improve. Since I am playing them exclusively "offensive" I was assuming passing would be the secondary skill I should look for. Note that I also train playmaking.

A winger played "offensive" will only increase is winger skill and decrease his defender skill. Note that it won't affect his passing skill. This is taken from the ABC of tactics site...

Given the importance of midfield, I would say that playmaking would be my most important secondary skill for a winger...

Good Luck!

It depends a lot on what sort of help your team needs. If you're struggling with midfield, then playmaking and stamina are more important. However, if you need more offense, then you're better served with good passing skill. All things being equal, and if I had a choice, I'd probably choose on of each (playmaking and passing).

If you are looking for a winger than will contribute tot he offense then passing would be the secondary skill you want. Still, playmaking if is a good skill to have for wingers. And if he has playmaking, then of course he needs stamina.

Here are my wingers. They all have hig stamina because of my early stamina training program last season when I got my team. 2 starters usually put up 2 stars. Backup 1.5
Quote:
Paul Shoenberger (one of the original guys)
33 000 Euro, 22 years, weak form
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities [Unpredictable]

Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: weak
Winger: passable Defending: weak
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: solid

Stefan Vassen (Deutschland - picked up for $2K as team clown)
15 000 Euro, 20 years, inadequate form
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities [Head]

Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: poor
Winger: passable Defending: poor
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched

Torben Pütlich (Danemark)
44 000 Euro, 18 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities

Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: inadequate Passing: wretched
Winger: passable Defending: poor
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: passable

So basically, I will look to get a solid winger with passable passing (high playmaking/stamina will be a plus).

Thanks everybody
