Tiebreaker

In my current season the division ended in a 4 way tie a team 9-7. All teams were 3-3 in the division. The bengals were the only team that were 8-4 in the conference. Shouldn't they win the division. Somehow I was given the division and the bye.

After head to head record and division record, record against common opponents (there are 14 every year for division tiebreakers) is next, then conference record.

Thanks. For wild cards conference record comes before common games which is why I was confused.
