Taking notes during the season?

I've often thought about this but just now mentioning it, do any others take notes during your seasons/games? If so just curious what you do? Wish there was a way to do this in game. Don't really have any current method but want to start...

Thanks

My advice is to use Notepad. Quick, easy.

I use a spreadsheet and save the notes from year to year.

When I first got into FOF 7 SP I had a template saved in Excel that I printed out each season and filled in. Simply a position-by-position table with space for how many players I had, what contract length and what I needed to get in the current year or future years. Then some notes on extent of good-enough free agents and draft prospects available to give a sense of scarcity / value.

Now with the multiple window view in FOF 8 I've scrapped that altogether, no notes needed. I'm a two monitor setup guy which really enhances FOF now
