FOF8 Game Logs: Plus Plays and Minus Plays

By pulling 20*seasons of data from FOF8.0a using Gstelmack’s FOF8 Utility Suite, I am now able to pull some positional averages for this new FOF8 information. This should give us Continue reading

Doing this for three reasons...

1. The forum doesn't allow posting of larger data tables.
2. I started working on a new reference thread and realized what an inefficient way that is to organize resources.
3. I've been running a web site for 8+ years with no freakin' home page.

I'll use the site to post my own studies and link to stuff here and elsewhere that is useful. Feel free to offer suggestions.

This is gold, thanks Ben.

How can you collect the data from your team? Is it something in the Utility site? Or do you go through each game log?

The new Interrogator utility pulls this data from Solevision. It writes new CSVs in the leaguedata folders with drive information, the detailed box score stats that are not included in the FOF exported information, and some extra stats including the plus/minus for each player.

Is it like a Manual in there to know how to use it? Because it seems difficult for the Average IT user. And it would be really good to know how to use it for MP leagues.

Well so now, the Interrogator generated the .csvs in the leaguedata folders and as an Average IT User I got 2 cuestions.

1) Where the leaguedata folders are now? (Steam user)

2) How do I compile and get the % of the reports about + / - ?

Thanks in advance.

The .csv file should be located at:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Solecismic Software\Front Office Football Eight\leaguedata\[leaguename]\player_season_extra_[year]

The data that are on [] are personal and/or situational.

I'm not sure if there is an option to get the percentage. I'm working on macro to do it for me. The problem is that the name/path of the file changes according to the name of the league and the year that you are in. So the macro should be changed in each situation. I can post here, though, as soon as I'm finished.
