Any thoughts on a "Head Coach" button during simulations?

I like to watch my games and control big decisions (4th down, 2pt attempts). Not interested in calling individual plays, but I would like to influence the games direction.

For example, A "Head Coach" mode (similar to how you click to call your own plays). It would prompt to go for it or kick on 4th downs, XP or 2pt and maybe the option to go conservative/aggressive at the end of half (4 min off or 2 min off). Maybe a prompt in the 4th quarter if you are winning to go 4 minute or stay with the base offense.

when calling plays you can just click the box not to call your own plays and just watch the game and unclick it when you see a big decision coming up

I LOVE this idea. It would truly simulate a head coach who leaves the play calling up to his coordinators.

I realize you can switch back and forth between calling plays and not calling them. But if you are simming at a faster pace, sometimes it's hard to stop simming in time for a fourth down decision.

That's what I do, but it has some problems -

1) It kicks the extra point automatically - so if you score a 35 yard TD and didn't have the button clicked you are SOL. Same thing on non-offensive TD.

2) I have my "scripts" set- I don't want to call the play just because it's 4th and 3. I already made those choices. This might not seem like a big deal, but you risk "The Defense was familiar with that play"

3) I still have to manually call plays at end of game/half. It takes longer and its redundant if if I already made the full Gameplan. I created the plan to be balanced and not overuse any plays.

I did the coach calls play a few times but then switched back to solevision. For me, the benefits of having access to game logs and box scores plus seeing all the scores and stats leaders outweighs the ability to make a few play calls, not to mention I'm so used to solevision after so many years.
